Apparently I’m not allowed to order again as I’m annoyed that my food was left on the doorstep WITHOUT knocking the door as I live on a narrow road (they’ve delivered here before) the food this time is passable I mean I have to reheat it but that is also my fault apparently. I have ordered for years and delivery times quoted are always quicker than the food arrives so I suggest people go to balti hut or noor (food as good, service a thousand times better just longer wait times)

To add I did swear once - during the last call after being called by the takeaway FOUR times in the space of 3 minutes to be shouted at by your “staff” (yes I kept putting the phone down as I too do not tolerate abuse) who also lied when they said there was a car behind them, doorbell footage confirms there wasn’t. That’s without the delivery times being out (35 mins advertised prior to placing order, jumped to 50 mins once you’d taken my money - not the first time this has happened either and I got my order at 1 hr and 10 mins) but I am sure in your head you think me being annoyed not only for food being left on a doorstep it being late is also my fault. You don’t need to worry about me ordering again your food and service has gone down hill over the years (missing items more than once, food being delivered lukewarm and as already stated delivery times being out by minimum of 30 mins regularly) the only reason an order was placed last night was the delivery time quoted which was incorrect any way.

First time visiting this restaurant so we were a bit dubious we didn't want to spoil a birthday.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming on our arrival

We were the only ones in there to start but it soon got busy and it was obvious that a lot of customers were regulars.

We asked a few questions about the menu and staff were great at explaining what everything was.

The food when it was served was amazing. The portions were of a very good size. It was presented really well and everything was fresh and tasty with just the right amount of spices

Between us we had chicken tika masala chicken balti and biriyani with pilau rice and poppadoms Very nice.

The prices were average but was impressed with the portion sizes

You can also take in your own alcohol We didn't but a few customers did.

We will definitely be going here again and 100% recommend eating here. You won't be disappointed

Staff were attentive and there if we needed them. They wasn't hanging around us removing plates immediately....which we hate. They didn't rush us at all. Even when our table was cleared they told us no rush take your time.

I ordered a delivery. I called the restaurant directly as we have nut allergies and so I wanted to speak to them first. The man who answered was so friendly, polite and helpful and even though they were clearly busy, took his time to ensure the food I chose would be catered for nut allergies. I thought I'd have to go back to the delivery site to order but he just took the order on the phone for me. The food didn't take long to come but I didn't hear the delivery driver knocking and I'm not sure how long he was out there so the food didn't stay piping hot for long. (I'm not sure why he didn't just ring the doorbell.) That being said the food was so good. I had a mild creamy chicken curry. There were generous amounts of chicken and as it's usually made with peanut the chef made it with coconut for me. It was so tasty, as was the delicious medium hot lamb and vegetable curry I ordered too. I had the curry with naan bread with meat inside which was delicious and some pilau rice. I'm not familiar with Indian food but after that meal I know what to expect & I'll be ordering again. I really enjoyed it....
