DISHEARTENED :( I used love going to Costa at princess alice drive in Sutton Coldfield. The staff were always kind and welcoming. I felt part of the community and culture. I would always boast and recommend this venue. Recently, I was not treated the same, I was ignored by the same staff, even when I tried to approach them to say hello seversl times, they avoided eye contact and walked away. I knew sonething wasnt right as I didn't feel welcome at all. I went to this costa because of the way the staff treated me, I used feel that I wasn't judged for being different and that made me feel proud to be a British born Muslim. There was a sense of belonging. Unfortunately, this has changed and it is very disappointing. I am still the same person, and I don't understand what I have done wrong to be treated this way. It is important to remember that we all are human beings and humanity comes first along with compassion, kindness and care. It's heartbreaking, unfortunately I won't be returning there after being made to feel like an outsider. It just isn't fair, I was able to look past things because I really liked the staff but why couldn't the staff look past things and see me as their customer who valued them but the same was not reciprocated by the staff...

I asked for caramel latte and there is no caramel taste to their drinks.This also happened with a mocha drink. When I mention it to the staff they seem not professional about it and have also been quite rude, they need to create a more friendly environment. My friends who went with me on another occasion had noticed this as well. I have gone more than once and just feel the cost of the drink doesn't do it justice so I have now gone to Greggs next door and their coffee tastes way better.
