The Mount Indian Grill & Pub Food — Restaurant in Birmingham

Overall had a pleasant experience,minor issues tv,s playing sport with volume witch for me in a restaurant turn off,mixture of music better choice :-),same in the bar but that’s what I would expect but duke box available which I kept feeding so happy,I did ask for tv to be lowered in the restaurant gent turned off straight away, no probs,refurb could not fault done a good job,staff pleasant enough but we did go at a quiet time will try again on a fri,sat easily change to 4 star if different ie playing music :-).Ps anybody going 1st time you order at the till for food if any drinks needed goto the bar which I like the idea so at least you don’t have to wait for bill you can go when you want but that’s a personal preference,I just wish I was told this from the start as we waited for a waiter :-( little note on table would of helped I do wish the new owners well though,hardest part keeping low life’s out of the bar on our stay no problems also what I have heard pleasant feed back....

Very disappointed read a lot of very good reviews about the mount, I was looking forward to having a really nice meal. Instead we had to wait nearly one hour, we arrived today 10/11/19 at about 1.25 we looked at the menu and went to the bar to order are food at about 1.35 we then had to wait till about 2.25 to get are food. There was three people in are party and two people had the roast dinner neither of them could eat the roast dinner as it had no flavour. While we was waiting for are food to come we saw a chief eat a chip of one of the plates. The staff seemed uninterested in us and at no point did any staff come to us to see if we was happy with the meal, even when we was leaving no one asked us if we had a good visit. Went here for my first time on Thursday and had a lovely steak cooked to perfection. Service was amazing and the value for money for the quality of food was impeccable. I enjoyed the food so much decided to book a table for 3 of us for today (Saturday) the service we received was unmatched for anywhere else we've been in the area, we ordered our drinks starters and mains in one go and were given free poppadoms while we waited. Our starters came first which were delicious and well presented, I had lamb chops which were very delicious and tender, I could've eaten them all day. When our mains came, which were two curries and a steak it didn't take long for us to polish off every morsel on our plates.
