Walked in there was plenty of staff about x6 but no one at the welcome table after waiting approximately 5 minutes. Two unidentified staff with no uniform who watched me waiting said I should have waited go be seated. I was then shown to a table and told a member of staff would be with me.. they took approximately five minutes to bring me a menu that the girl who seated us passed. We where finally asked if we wanted drinks which we ordered as soon as they came to the table we where asked if we wanted food. I wanted to finish my coffee before selecting. We was approached approximately another 3x pushing for us to order food.. I politely got her to go away until I was ready . Whilst waiting I observed x2 plates finished and ready to take to a customer who ordered it the plates where left for a unforgivable amount of time by this observation I decided that the standards and service of frankly n bennys where not to my expectations and decided to leave. I asked for the bill and had to wait a extremely long time so I got up and walked today the door. Doing so this attracted some attention. I told a member if staff that for so much staff to be in and such poor service you would have expected it to be at nearly full capacity. Their was on average six people in the restaurant I highlighted this and the woman whom I complained to was very kind enough to give us our drinks for free and told us about the complaints process..i did not make a official complaint however I did make it known Any complaint I will put online so hear we are. I will not be returning this place is poorly led and the management should be ashamed of themselves for allowing such a great place to be discredited by bone idol , half a job ,...

Booked a table here with some friends for an evening out. We arrived slightly early for our reservation and waited at the bar for our table to be ready. While waiting we ordered some drinks and when my mocktail arrived it was not as described in the menu. When we were seated we had to wait a while to order our food. The drinks ordered at the table arrived quickly and the starters followed about 15 minutes later. We finished our starters and awaited the mains. After a 30 gap we were advised that our mains were the next ticket and would be about 5 minutes. After a further 15 minutes we asked the server where our food was and were then served our mains a few minutes later. By this point we were all hungry and fed up, so we were understandably disappointed when the food arrived cold. The meatball pasta sauce was so minimal the dish was dry, the broccolini side was over cooked and had a strange smell, the chicken Parm was burnt and soggy and the onion rings were black. We called a server over and complained and were offered to have our food recooked being told it would only take 10 minutes. A manager then came to the table and said because there were 18 other tickets our food would be considerably longer wait, we told the manager we would not be willing to wait this long and wanted the bill. When the manager returned she said she would refund 3 of the 4 mains and acted like she was doing is a favour by offering this. We told her we would not be willing to pay for food that was not edible and wanted all the mains and sides removed from the bill. She reluctantly agreed and after a further 15 minutes returned with the new bill.
Needless to say we will not be...
Read moreI have not been to F&B for a few years and I was really looking forward to my old favourite - calamari. I was so disappointed to find that it is now served like onion rings in a flavourless batter as opposed to the lovely whole baby squid they used to serve. There wasn’t even a token salad leaf on the starter plates, leaving the dishes we had looking incredibly beige.
The entire menu has changed and has lost that Italian American feel, which is a real shame. Many of the dishes you would see on any standard pub menu.
My main was inedible. I had the New York BBQ Chicken (Hunters Chicken) and it was quite possibly one of the worst dishes I’ve been served in a restaurant. It was dry! So, so dry. My mouth feels like Gandhi’s flip flop just thinking about it!!!! I had to ask for a steak knife...for a chicken breast. There was barely any sauce/toppings on the chicken; there was a blob of sauce and cheese on some really fatty bacon in the middle, but it wasn’t smothered as you’d expect. The fries were ok; you can’t really mess up fries.
My partner had the Philly Steak Hotdog and did not enjoy his as most of the steak was like little chucks of charcoal and there was barely any cheese on it.
Mojitos were watery and not made with crushed ice as one would expect.
The only reason I have given two starts is because the staff were nice and service was good, but unfortunately I’d never eat at a F&B again. It has become cheap, over commercial food of a low standard compared to the flavoursome, more authentic Italian food...
