German Doner Kebab (GDK) — Restaurant in Birmingham

Do not go here! The workers at GDK Mosely are running this business into the ground. 4 times in a row I have ordered from here and was extremely disappointed! Allow me to explain:

The amount of Meat/Chicken in any of the meals has ridiculously decreased! It was literally their bread with salad/sauces in and 1-2 shreds of chicken and no donner meat at all when I ordered a mixed! Are you guys deliberately doing this so you can fool people into paying for extra meat? How about you give some meat instead of nothing. Disgusting sales techniques. I paid over £30 for a few pieces of bread with salad and sauce in. When your branch first opened it was amazing, perfect. Id recommend it to everyone but NOW ITS COMPLETELY RUBBISH!

Over 5 times I have been charged for a large donner meal and was given a mini donner! Are the workers at GDK MOSELY blind?

So Ive received empty donner meals, empty donner wraps, very very small portions of fries that were almost empty, Ive been given the wrong size meals. The price is absolutely ludacris! Honestly the food you have been serving is not even enough for the homeless.

GET NEW STAFF AND START GIVING THE CORRECT SIZE PORTIONS OF MEAT, STOP TRYING TO SCAVENGE FOR £1.50 EXTRA MEAT! THAT WONT MAKE YOU RICH! I have had these complaints from all my family and friends. I have been to this place with my family twice because we want to try out different types of new foods on the menu.

I must say they need to order more coke for the customers to buy a drink to have with their main meals and most likely there are so many diet cokes on the counter.

The food was absolutely delicious because I'm really obsessed with kebabs at the moment and I would say everyone should highly recommend this place to eat in with their friends and families.

I don't understand why most people are complaining about the prices of foods on the menu for them to try for the first time and don't worry about the money seriously just give it a try then you'll see how you think of their foods.

I would like to say that they have done a wonderful job by refurbishing this place into a brand new kebab shop and it's gets even more busier in the evenings.

The salad is always fresh when I had it with my main meals and I will try some milkshakes very soon only if I feel like it.

I would like to give GDK a 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because they have been working really hard preparing all different types of foods for the customers to be served on time and it's always fresh as usual.

When it comes to lunch and dinner I always think about the aroma of doner kebab and I would love to have it again in the next few months.

The sauces are absolutely amazing because you can have it with your main meals and I would love to have a take out anytime soon.

I wasn’t going to say anything but I’ve had two experiences here which have led me to believe that the attitude of some of the staff at this place is a joke. That’s Balsall heath for you.

Firstly, I went here about 2 weeks ago and ordered a durum wrap. Guess what? There was a piece of plastic or a bone in my meat. When I told the ‘supervisor’ Akib he said that ‘obviously’ we don’t make the meat so it’s not our fault. Is this place a joke? He then offered to make me another one. Not even a refund. What level of customer service is this? I was too tired to fuss. The shop is beautiful and the food is usually good (although I do go to the city centre one) but this guy’s attitude put me off. He looked like he couldn’t care less. I decided to not leave a review following this because sometimes mistakes happen and the member of staff may he having a bad day.

But no. Then last week I went in with a friend who was hungry (I did not order as I was put off from the last time). Not going to lie, the guy who served us was nice and polite, again, the shop was clean. But a girl behind the counter shouted at another member of staff in front of everyone.
