Kurry Kingdom — Restaurant in Birmingham

placed an order with Kurry Kingdom through Uber Eats and was notified that the food had left the restaurant. 20 minutes passed—nothing arrived. I called the restaurant, and they told me it was with the driver. Another 45 minutes later, still no food. I called again and was told it was just 5 minutes away. When the order finally arrived, several items were missing, and the food was stone cold. I called the restaurant to report this, and instead of apologising or trying to help, they told me it was impossible for items to be missing and basically accused me of lying. After going back and forth with them on the phone, I asked them to come collect the food and issue a full refund—it looked inedible and was clearly not fresh. They told me they’d speak to the manager and call me back. When they did, they admitted something even worse: our food had been delivered to someone else first, that person ate part of it, and then the rest was delivered to us. That’s absolutely disgusting. So not only did they lie to me, call me a liar, and argue with me, they gave me food that had been partially consumed by someone else. Eventually, they agreed to a refund and told me to request it through Uber Eats. I did—and out of £44 spent, I got just £7.18 back. I called the restaurant again the next day to ask for the rest of the refund, and they told me there was nothing more they could do—then hung up on me. Unbelievable. Disgusting food, appalling service, and completely unethical behaviour. I’ll never order from Kurry Kingdom again, and I highly recommend others...

Absolutely appalling experience tonight, we have ordered quite a few times from this restaurant and have eaten in a few times as well, usually the food is good but the last time the food was cold, we thought maybe it was a one off so ordered tonight. Tonight the naan bread was forgotten so I called up to explain that the naan had been forgotten and whether one could be delivered. The owner then proceeded to ask me in a patronising way, whether I had checked the bag. Of course I'd checked the bag which is what I said, then the owner became defensive and rude in tone to say "don't be abrupt, it's only a naan, it's not the end of the world". I have never experienced such appalling customer service, I was not abrupt, I soon was after being spoke to like that. He then proceeded to over talk me and continue to be patronising. My partner said in the background that we won't be ordering from there again, to which the owner said "don't bother coming here" and then hung up on me. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. We used to recommend Kurry Kingdom to others but no longer will.

From this experience and the other 1 star reviews you have recieved, Yes it is only a naan bread and it's not the end of the world, but if this is how you treat your customers, this will be the end of your business.

Wanted to try this place for a while as I’m a big fan of Indian foods, this place has to be the WORSE in Birmingham honestly!!! The value for your money is disgusting. I paid close to £40 for a “mixed grill” chips and a starter. The “mixed grill” wasn’t even enough for one person! Every other Indian I’ve tried (which is a lot) have massive portions to feed at least 3 people at a cheaper cost with more flavour. A usual mixed grill has chicken wings, prawns, chicken tikka, salmon, sheesh kebab however this place had chicken that tastes like gone off cheese & a chicken leg. Yes ONE chicken leg. I was so appalled by this I immediately called the restaurant to express my concerns and the man was rude and arrogant. He told me if I want more then order more simple. I was shocked. If I was seated in the restaurant and this had came out to my table I would have got up and walked out without paying a penny. The whole lot went into the bin, I wouldn’t even feed a dog this food.
