What is this about a cafe in the Park? Where is the consultation of ALL Park users and the residents who live next to or on the Park area? Those who want a cafe must not be able to arbitrarily impose their wishes on everyone else without giving the opportunity for meaningful and unbiased discussion in the whole community. I use the Park everyday as well as being a resident living very nearby and have concerns about the plan, for many reasons. Few people I know had any inkling of a cafe and once aware via word of mouth of a questionnaire, tried to access it. However, the Q & A are all assuming that one is in favour of the cafe. Read moreThis is a lovely park. My only issue with it is that the "orchard" that is all over the website as a place to visit and pick fruit seems to be completely inaccessible. I discovered this when I took my kids and a friends kid to check it out for a photoshoot along with a basket of apples as a prop so we wouldn't pick too many. The apparent orchard was fenced off with no visible way in and what we could see looked overgrown. Read moreA lot of the pathways are not finished and can become very waterlogged and swap like they have added shredded christmas trees to alleviate the mud however we live nearby and its still impossible for us to take our pushchair because of the paths My neighbour who uses a disability scooter has the same problem.
