West Midlands Jerk Centre — Restaurant in Birmingham

Even though Birmingham is not my home town I will always visit this joint when I'm there and I've been known to drive over 40 miles to nyam their food! I especially like their jerk pork because practically nobody else even touches pork. I don't generally eat pork as I can do without it but the flavour of their jerk pork is just special. Additionally, you can order mix meats so pork and chicken, or chicken and mutton. I always order enough to see me through a dinner, next day breakfast and throw in some ackee/calaloo with salt fish for lunch! WMJC team also often represent themselves at various events and festivals around the Midlands area and they are always very popular at whichever venue they are at. The staff dem cool too - yeah mun! If I could give 0 I would I’m very disappointed with the service I asked for jerk pork and was not asked if I wanted salad food came out half the size I expected for the price wen I said to the guy can I have rice with that then for my money he said I have to pay an extra £3 😂 mate I’m literally disgusted with that place further more the jerk pork is not better then JERKY JHON’s AT YEWTREE if they was open I would not have bothered with jerk centre by villa road!!!! I visited 6th Jan 24 at 10pm, the gentleman who served me was very pleasant, I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. I ordered jerk chicken and rice and peas and steam veg and then curry mutton and white rice. The food was insane…sooo good, so tasty!!
