Asim Pizza & Kebab House — Restaurant in Birmingham

After smoking very fine herbal cigarette and addressing the resulting call of nature, I am now going to describe the food I ate and so thoroughly enjoyed from Azim Pizza and Kebab House. It just goes to show that anyone with half a brain will order from small restaurant rather than big, to enjoy unique food in good quantities at a good price.

The order you must buy is called the "snack box". When I received it from the driver in a box, I was instantly taken aback by it's weight. It weighs as much as a litre of pepsi, but it was a pizza box containing solid food. When opened, the snack box is revealed to be döner meat, chicken (or lamb?) and British chips with a rich, spicy sauce containing vegetables. A veritably unique blend of cooking styles and cultural blends from throughout the globe. This is a large quantity of food. You will not eat it in one sitting unless you are very very stoned and capable of eating two normal sized dürüm kebabs.

I also ordered a lamb dürüm. This is a good, fairly normal döner kebab. Also very nice is they throw in random extras. I ordered a 7up and I got a 7up and two pepsis! Also extra sauce, which is nice. Unlike a big restaurant, where you have to pay £2 for a seagull-poop sized quantity of ketchup. Anyway, I must say a fabulous all-you-can-eat gem in the heart of Birmingham, a splendid munchies satiation service that operates deep into the night. 11/10 would highly reccomend.

Ordered food from Asim Pizza and Kebab House again for my last night in Birmingham.

This is without a doubt the finest restaurant in town. Snack box is an absolute work of art that weighs as much as a brick and has a delightful blend of spicy oriental chicken, kebab meat and thick fish-and-chips style chips. Ultimate snack post-night out. Quick delivery. Two free drinks and an assortment of sauces with it. Only problem here is their number doesnt seem to work and AFAIK you have to order on UBER eats and/or JustEat. But yes 12/10 would reccomend delightul.

EDIT 2023 For the first time ever I actually went to Asim Pizza and Kebab House rather than ordering delivery. It is a nice place with nice staff. It is located in the hood (Lozells) but the eatery itself is nice. It appears clean and tidy and food appears fresh. Customer service and the food itself are excellent as usual. They have Local Legend...

We spent a around £32 on an order. Ordered 2 Meat Balti’s and found a hair in one of them. Obviously if we had found a hair in one of Meat Balti’s, we wouldn’t feel comfortable eating the other one so we called up and explained everything. The first guy was very apologetic at the time and asked us what he could do to make it up to us. We explained we actually like his food so could he deduct it off our next order. He agreed and told us he would ask his manager and it would be £13 off our next order.

Fast forward a few days. We call to place an order. My mum placed the order and when he read out the total, she told the worker about the call we made regarding the hair and how we will be compensated £13 on our next order. This guy was not having it. He was so rude. Constantly shouting over my mum whenever she was trying to talk and he then told us “I can give you money back for 1 meat balti but you can’t order from us again”. Also tried to shout down the phone that it’s our fault for calling 2 hours after we got our order (even though it was more like 1 hour). We tried and tried to explain how we got the food but didn’t open it until we were ready to eat, however this dude thinks his shop is perfection and so he just didn’t listen to us 1 bit.

My mum then hung up so I called back. He tried to justify himself by saying “what am I gonna get out of giving you money back for your order? I didn’t even get the food back from you at the time” we told him we can fish it out of the bin if he’d like then asked to cancel the order we just placed after he told me “even if I don’t like the person, I will still make great food for them.” Eventually agreed to drop off £10 but we will never be eating there again. Continued to shout at my mum but didn’t raise his voice when I was speaking to him.

Average food. Absolutely incompetent when it comes to knowing how to treat your customers.

P.S. if you guys at Asim’s read this. You’ve missed out on a regular customer. Open your eyes and own up when you make a mistake as they seem to happen quite often judging by your reviews. I don’t ever write reviews but seemed necessary after how you tried to treat my mum.

Called up to ask what does a daddy burger consist of, It didn't sound appealing in the slightest so I asked if they do double cheese burgers he replied yes, I ordered TWO double cheese burger meals with 7ups and specifically asked for lettuce and onion. My meals took 60 MINUTES to finally arrive and then to realise they have sent me TWO DADDY BURGER MEALS WITH TWO PEPSI's!!!!!!! I called back to be talked to like crap with 0 CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS and I was TOLD that I ordered the daddy meals and put the phone down on ME. So seen as nothing was going to happen I decided to give it a try.. VILE is the only word that springs to mind.. It had jalepenos (that wasn't hot in the absolute slightest) cheese that tasted like bacon??? Chicken that was bland that felt like I was chewing rubber. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THESE AGAIN. I ADVISE YOU NOT TO ALSO.. ABSOLUTELY...
