at first delivery was taking a while , whilst confused if the place was even open to begin with as uber & google saying different things i chose to test my luck after over an hour my food had been delivered, although it had taken a while the driver was friendly & after driving a fair drive from where the shop is located i didn’t mind. ( he could have been new , a bad day , running behind) it doesn’t matter no one was hurt. on to the food i had recently had eggusi from a different place and it was horrible i was hoping to try this place & find my thoughts i was not disappointed. it was soooo good i had no issues & like most places no food poisoning ( im severally scared of sick lol) food was tasty & still warm so win win to be honest even if it was a tad late. just a tad pricy for delivery 5.99 woi oi 😹 anyway place is good try it & very lovely...

I'm very picky with Nigerian food, seeing as I'm Nigerian myself. I would often have to travel to a spot in a different city for good Nigerian food. BUT YOU SEE MODE LAGOS?!!!!!! OMG. I had the Efo and Pounded Yam and Wow, the Efo still looked green (instead of black like the ones that aren't fresh and have been overheated 5 million times🚩). The turkey and fried fish were soft and fell off without stress! You don't know how much of a relief that was for me, a soft babe, I don't have energy to be fighting over meat 😂( the animal is already dead, why would I be fighting you in the afterlife💀). I'm giving them their flowers💐 because I was definitely sceptical at first as I thought it would be like all the other ones in Brum, but I was pleasantly surprised. As I type this review, that Efo is living in my head...

I never ever normally complain about food. If the food is bad I normally just take a note and never order again. However this place…… so for starters delivery was late it took long, uber eats doesn’t update you because it’s store delivery drivers so it said to call them up. I called them to just be sent straight to voicemail. So the foods arrived now and I looked in the bag to see I’ve received a rice instead of the pounded yam which I ordered. They didn’t call to let me know that this was gonna be the case. As I opened up this rice I noticed 2 hairs. I’m not a fussy person so I said ok I’ll just move the hair out the way then I opened up the soup to see the beef pieces still had the cows hair on it attached to the skin!!!!
