Upon arrival, we were informed that we had received a “room upgrade.” However, this was misleading as the room did not match what we originally booked. Instead of a double bed and a sofa bed, as clearly stated in our reservation, we were given a room with only a double bed, which did not meet our requirements.
When we brought this issue to the attention of the hotel staff, they were not only unhelpful but also incredibly rude. They insisted it was not their problem and falsely claimed that we must have booked the wrong room through Booking.com. Furthermore, they initially refused to provide a room with a sofa bed, stating that no other rooms were available. However, after we persisted and showed them our booking confirmation, another staff member—who was much more polite—offered to move us to the correct room. So strange how the room magically appeared.
At this point, the original staff member reappeared and demanded an additional £30 charge. They justified this by claiming that Booking.com should have charged us extra for the sofa bed, which is simply untrue. We have stayed at this hotel before and never encountered such an issue. This charge was unfair and seemed like an opportunistic fee imposed on us after their initial mistake.
This place used to be amazing but really went downhill lately, the rooms are actually quite nice and the price is okay but the staff lady who was working yesterday evening at 4pm was SO SO SO RUDE. I dont advocate for people being fired but this woman was rude abusive and generally just ruined our stay....

I chose this hotel specifically because of its location, as I had a critically important meeting early the next morning. I paid £370 for this room, yet they “relocated” me to a partner hotel that was miles away and worth barely a quarter of what I paid. The entire transfer process dragged on for more than two stressful hours, and throughout it all, there was no refund, no compensation, no apology of real value.
When we asked to speak with the manager, we were told the manager was “resting” and unavailable. Imagine this: it was nearly midnight, I had nowhere to stay, and the person responsible simply went home for the night.

All the stuff was not helpful, they are not smiling , except the lady who was making our reservation she is nice to be honest , but the view is bad really bad , they said they have parking ; but they were lair i paid 32 GBP unfortunately , although i parked 12 Hours , even they gave me 55% !!!!
I tried to turned on the oven , all the electricity was stopped and light switched off !!
Even the rooms not having phones !!! I went out Call the emergency the had long time to answer and they was like police cups not experts !
