McDonald's — Restaurant in Birmingham

This is not a Maccies restaurant.

It is not part of the McDonald's drive-thru restaurant near by.

It is a commercial kitchen with a franchise for courier deliveries via food delivery apps. Such as Just Eat, Uber, Deliveroo etc.

It is not open to the public.

Most of the really poor, cold food delivery is due to the drivers who collect multiple orders at the same time across various apps to try and make the most money and spend the least fuel or time. Made worse by individual delivery apps now allocating multiple deliveries to drivers.

As many are registered with multiple food delivery apps, this leads to McDonald's customers experiencing long waits while drivers deliver to multiple homes.... most are genuine and really good at what they do, lots unfortunately pick food up, wait around for other orders and deliver all at once meaning cold late deliveries.

I've seen drivers eat a customer's order whilst waiting for more orders, say it wasn't collected for delivery when contacted and confronted! I wouldn't touch it. These behaviours result in some of the reviews here I'm sure.

Drivers are exempt from food hygiene ratings! Yet they are looking after your food and reasonable for it.

The restaurant up the road, open to the public that cares about customer service is much much better 👍 at least you know where your...

Honestly I want to rant and swear and just rip on this McDonalds that I am forced to order from due to my location. Tuesday.. forgot 20 nuggets, fries and sauces. Today forgot the one and only meal I had on my order.. it was medium.. I got a hot large drink and half a medium fries no quarter pounder deluxe. Trust me there is always a problem I'm just deciding to review now. Did you know this isnt even a restaurant! All they have to do is pack deliveroo and Uber etc... so no distractions... one job! The packers here are terrible at what they do and if they feel any pride in their work.... Stop it! Now! Everyone there are lazy wastes of spaces. Yep talking to you management mostly get out the office and sort your team out... And if you are on the shop floor... Shocking. Have some...

No need to order; there that poor. There's no point as you get what they decide to put in the bag; it could be anything. The waste is massive, because the orders never right; so it's refunded. I ordered chicken nuggets and fries 🍟 I got 4 fries and 4 double cheeseburgers, then told to keep it and money refunded. My order was sent out again which landed wrong again, so refunded that as well. 40 bucks worth of food for free but nothing I actually ordered in the whole lot. Some people are poor at their job, the manager of this mcdonalds holds the crown for the worst manager in history and turning the phone off in the office won't...
