Kept coming to this place and always finding it closed. Today I was fortunate enough to get there early and just before the rush came in which was a few minutes after I arrived. Everything looked great and the smells were amazing. My friend an I ordered the food and were lucky enough to find a few seats free. We sat down and oh my god, the rush was so content the atmosphere was off the charts and it was just, rush, rush, rush! People in and out, the hectic but structured order delivery, it was like I was in another country. Once the food arrived it was absolutely, Amazing! There's no other way to describe it, and in the short time my friend and I were there we must have seen about 50 orders go out and we were not there for long as this is the type of place you eat and move along. But whilst you're there, you will absolutely love the vibe, the food and the service. The food was absolutely amazing, the lamb shawarma, has to be the best I've had, no fat was in my plate (not a fan of fat loaded shawarmas), tasted great from start to end. We got a lamb shawarma wrap, 2x Wala Platter (mix shawarma, 3 falafels, fries, naan and salad) and a Fatayer (pizza styled dish with just lamb and cheese, no sauce) see pictures, the falafel are made fresh in front of you, super tasty and packing good flavour. Everything was so good. But the even better thing was their prices, you can feed a family and not break the bank at all. They do take card and they are always rushed. They close around 7:30/8pm, but I now understand why. Poor chefs must be constantly putting out orders non stop. Card payments: yes Toilets: don't believe there are but the shop was so rammed, couldn't confirm. Disabled access: I don't believe there is but they do have outdoor seating (weather dependent I guess). Would I return? No doubt whatsoever, Yes, yes and YES!

Ordered £7 shawarma on a tray at the small heath branch. I'm coeliac so can't eat bread. The young guy with glasses served me my food. He gave me ONLY literally all of the scraps at the bottom of the turntable which were barely warm. Everyone else got a fresh serving and they weren't even closing, i was wearing joggers and maybe he thought she'll be ok with scraps. I said i want the fresh stuff he looked at it and ignored me. I said it again and his other colleagues looked at him, still he didnt add more so i could have a warm meal. He asked if I wanted salad and I said just the red cabbage but he decided to add the rest. I then said can I have more red cabbage (it would've probably cost them another 10p if that) he ignores me , turned around and got bread as if he didn't care. I said no bread as im coeliac, he carried on, i said no bread again, another guy said no bread? I said no (again) even though my order was bread free. Absolutely poor customer service. Older guy who took order was ok. Will not be going back again. The food was barely warm and not that great , there was a lot of fat, by the time i got home i saw chunks of fat (see white bit in pic) and they were too stingy with the sides. It's one thing to get the meal and not complain but to actually make a complaint that's ignored thats the worst customer service ever. I should have refused the food. I only recommend this place if you want a stingy man to ignore your requests and give you cold scraps.

Tried this place for a Shwarma hit as I was craving a snack and heard this place is nice. Glad I tried it, got chips with garlic and chilli sauces which were nice and crunchy. I also got 2 mix shwarma’s, 1 in a wrap and 1 in a sandwich (soft Turkish bread). Both were loaded with salad, hummus and all sauces…lovely! Nice, fresh and hot juicy meats went well with the salad and sauces. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes you get. If you like more meat and less bread, go for the wrap but if you like a little more soft bread the sandwich option is nice too. It was busy with customers taking food away and eating in, evidently a local favourite. The service was really good and the brothers are very kind. I changed my mind on what I wanted after I’d paid to upgrade my order and the brothers wouldn’t charge me for this and even put in 2 extra drinks at no charge. Will definitely come again for a snack on the go next time I’m around this area. The only star dropped was the space is limited should you wish to come with a larger crowd, with only 3 small tables but they’ve done the best they could with the space they have. Fine for small groups or the lads. …their Ayran drink is the best around too for those who like yoghurt drinks.

Shawarma Wala, Birmingham: A Must-Try for Authentic Flavors Shawarma Wala in Small Heath, Birmingham, has quickly established itself as a go-to spot for an authentic and satisfying shawarma experience. Located on Coventry Road, this eatery consistently earns high praise for its flavorful offerings and efficient service, making it a popular choice for locals and visitors alike. The star of the show is, of course, the shawarma. Whether you opt for the chicken or lamb, the meat is consistently described as juicy, tender, and expertly seasoned with aromatic Middle Eastern spices. Many reviewers highlight the "best fire shawarma" and praise its smoky, fragrant, and delicious qualities. The generous portions are appreciated, particularly the wraps on fresh Turkish bread or naan, often served with a side of salad and various sauces that perfectly complement the rich flavors. Beyond the classic wraps and sandwiches, Shawarma Wala offers popular variations like shawarma spuds (baked potatoes loaded with shawarma, cheese, and salad) and loaded fries topped with shawarma, cheese, and jalapeños. These creative twists provide exciting alternatives for those looking for something a bit different, while still delivering on the core deliciousness of their shawarma. Prices are generally considered very reasonable, with many expressing that they offer "very good food for very little prices." While some isolated comments mention small portions or higher prices, the overall consensus leans towards excellent value for the quality and taste delivered. The atmosphere is often described as busy, reflecting its popularity, but the staff are noted for their quick preparation and good customer service. The establishment holds positive food hygiene ratings, further reassuring customers about the quality and safety of their food. In summary, Shawarma Wala stands out in Birmingham's food scene for its delicious, authentic, and well-priced shawarma. It's a highly recommended spot for anyone craving Middle Eastern flavours, offering a consistent and satisfying...
