Sol Bistro — Restaurant in Birmingham

I visited today and was welcomed into a warm and cosy bistro! What a hidden gem this place is. We ordered coffee to start which was one of the best coffees around. We then decided to look at the menu and order some breakfast, I had the Belfast breakfast and my friend had the sol breakfast. Both of these were faultless and delicious! We sat relaxed and enjoyed our time here . We needed to head off as we were meeting family friends on the other side of Birmingham but we would easily sit there all day! 100% recommend and really encourage people to go and support them! Can't wait to visit again...

Sol Bistro is like the Tardis. Looks small but it opens out to two rooms, the back room can seat up to 6 people around one table. It is a very friendly and welcoming Bistro and their breakfast is really delicious. There are sandwiches of bacon, sausage. Small and large set breakfasts etc. We have tried their sandwiches, which comes with a nice salad and very filling. The 2 guys who run the Bistro are doing a brilliant job, so next Time you are in Cotteridge, pop in and enjoy fresh sandwiches...

What a gem this place is. Had a beautiful sourdough egg Benedict breakfast and delicious cappuccino. Was spoilt for choice what to have. Other brunch’s being served looked equally scrumptious. Management / staff are so friendly and welcoming. Deceptively spacious with loads more tables in second dining area behind serving counter....
