Interesting local pub with so much potential. A few cosmetic changes would change it from just ok to cool. They have made some upgrades which have improved the look, unfortunately they don't really fit with the grand design of the structure. Expensive upgrades are not always necessary or the best though some foliage at the front and the entrance and toilets let the place down. Staff and patrons friendly and relaxed and the stage area for entertainment like a local musician could really make this a destination point. Last night 30/07/21 I went to a Christmas Party and a Karaoke night. What a fabulous night out, I'd forgotten what it was like to go to a pub and have a bit of fun. A basic décor pub premises and a bit rough around the edges, however, a great staff and management team promoting quality entertainment, the public areas were clean and tidy with good hygiene sanitising arrangements and the cliental, although appearing a bit rough and ready, were all very friendly. This is a local pub in an industrial area of Birmingham. Popular with residents and people finishing work. Staff are helpful and friendly, but busy at the time I get there. I can't comment on the beer or wine selection as I have soft drinks as I drive to the pub.
