Visited yesterday and the level of service was shocking. There was a few people in but not busy at all. I stood at the counter waiting to order and the staff just stood there chatting while looking straight through me and completely ignoring the fact they had somebody waiting to order. A delivery driver walked in to the left hand of the counter and was greeted straight away which really annoyed me. I eventually asked if there was any possibility of ordering some food to which I was served. I was asked to find a table and they would let me know when ready. We sat and waited for the food which never came, called out lots of numbers but nothing. Eventually I asked the your girl what was going on with the food and she replied, I am sorry your food is on the side and we didn’t realise you was here waiting! I walked to the counter to collect the food and then I was told they were waiting on something else to add to the bag and it was still cooking. A young man who appeared to be the manager came to the front counter and could clearly see I was not happy. I told him how I felt and that the staff were so unaware of the people around them. They just flutter around chatting and messing around in the kitchen. I told him about the experience with the food and the terrible service and he replied with, I will speak to the staff and tried to apologise. I told him this was my second experience in a short space of time and how frustrating is was and he didn’t really say anything. Anyway…. Minutes later, while sitting with my family eating our cold meal, we see him messing around in the kitchen with the others and staring through the kitchen at me. What amazes me is the fact that somebody owns this company, it fails continuously and they don’t ever stand back and look at the basics. Dismissive staff, useless managers with no people skills or leadership whatsoever and just an overall appalling experience. NOT THAT WE DON'T TRY, we've ordered online multiple times and never, EVER, had the right order. That's not hyperbole - every Deliveroo order we have against this place has a matching refund because they've never got it right.
Normally it's missing extras - pay for a double Burger, get a single - or the wrong type of burger (order vegan whopper, get vegan royale)
The last two times however have pushed me over the edge: we've been given ENTIRELY the wrong orders. TWICE. The order ticket is correct, and the drinks are correct, but in every other way: wrong.
Last time we got meat whoppers burgers, this time we got bacon double cheeseburgers. It's not even the same SIZE as the vegan food we ordered, let alone the right ingredients.
The staff are so far beyond incompetent I'm amazed the BK headquarters allows them to continue - we've had more refunds from this place than we've had orders, it must be costing them a fortune... although based on other reviews I assume they don't actually issue many well-deserved refunds because the cashiers will stab anyone who asks (seriously, is this place actually staffed by C-Tier Batman villains?)
Just don't go. Don't order of Deliveroo. Run away. Point your satnav to any other location - the extra driving time will be justified by you actually getting...
