Coffee Bean — Restaurant in Blaby

2nd visit to this place, as i am working locally, The food is overpriced and average to say the least. After ordering a small vegetarian breakfast cappuccino and carrot cake, I received my coffee and breakfast, So ate my breakfast still no cake, i tried to speak to one of the staff at the same time as my workmate as he hadn't received his chips either, The woman then walked off without speaking to me. Then i caught the attention of another one of the staff, I told her that i hadn't received my cake yet to which she replied, Why do use lot have to be so rude! (I guess by us lot she meant working men we are a team of bricklayers.) Then followed up with i didn't serve you, To which i replied what difference does that make, She then stormed off banged about collected a cake from the fridge crouched down on the floor with the cake. Then brought it to me slammed it on the table and said sorry about the delay. Never seen anything like it, the staff were noisy, rude and had about a 60 IQ between the lot of them! Went in here the other week because my 3 year old daughter is potty training and needed the toilet. She's only been potty training for 2 weeks so when she needs to go it's instant. I got turned down because I wouldn't buy anything from the card in order for her to use the toilet, absolutely disgraceful yo deny a 3 year old little girl the dignity of using their bathroom. We eat here regularly. It did change hands and we stopped going in but it is now under excellent management. It is a relaxed informal establishment for families and friends. Their vegetarian breakfasts are so good, freshly cooked, appealingly presented with generous helpings. Coffee Bean provides 'homemade' meals/food rather than coffee and microwaved snacks.
