We have been going to this restaurant for over 12 years. Today we booked a table for 9, 4 adults and 5 children. 10minutes into being there a group of rowdy men came in and was placed on the table behide. They noise level they was making was horrendous, never mind the language. They was that loud we could not even hear own conversations never mind try and attempt to talk to each other. The staff just laughed and said its just what they are like. It was horrible to have to sit with family and friends and not be able chat with other. The noise levels was that loud it gave us headaches, my daughter had to sit with her fingers in her ears. The venue has seating area up stairs so if they knew what the men was like they could have placed us or them upstairs. Our bill came to £170 for food we could not enjoy nor enjoy the company with our family as we litetally could not hear each other speak. We mentioned it on many occasions to staff but they just laughed and didn't attempt to do anything about it. When we went to pay at the end we again expressed how our experience had been that we was paying alot of money. we asked for a discount however the staff member said he could knock £1. Not happy by this he eventually took £5 off and then said to us basically we had to put up with as they are regulars. We said this shouldn't mean we have to put it with it. We have been coming every other month for over 12 years so we class our selves as valuable customers the staff replied to this with well I don't remember your faces. Disgusting customer service and we will not be booking here again. When you are spending £170 better service should be given . you should value all your...
Read moreWent for hubby's birthday meal on Monday 31st October at 6.30pm. 4 adults in total. Wasn't busy. Just another party of 4 men in. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and brilliant service. Couldn't do enough for us. Constantly checking that everything was okay. Food was AMAZING! We had loads! Chicken Korma, Chicken Shashlik (my favourite and they will do you a Slimming World one without oil if you ask), Mushroom Masala, Chicken Tikka Korma, Naan bread, Keema Naan bread, Masala chips (again my favourite but very salty which I love but be prepared!) We all had a starter and only had a 15 minute wait in between starters and main course but was asked if we would like to wait longer. All food was piping hot and the flavours were delicious! Yes they do use food colouring but I like that it looks colourful! We had a tonic water, 2 pints of coke, a pint of Guiness and a bottle of Black Tower Rose wine. I have posted pictures of food. The bill total was £95 which was really good for 4 of us and the amount of food that we had. My nephew and brother eat here regularly too, we have been many times and it is a firm family favourite and have never had a bad experience. We will...
Read moreArrived at 1830 15/01/22, ordered drinks and then what we wanted to eat, starters came relatively quickly, the wine we selected they didn't have so we selected another one from the bottles they showed us none of which were on the wine list. We finished the bottle whilst waiting for our meals and asked for another bottle of the same wine which they didn't have. The menu has a lobster dish printed in it but they do not do lobster, we asked why and were told that customers in the area would not pay for lobster however you can have the prawn curry on the menu which they can do. Our main courses arrived at 2030 two hours later, during that time the customer service was non existent, lots of take outs and home deliveries were made whilst we sat there waiting. Eventually we got some customer service, we were asked if we were okay with the food, when we questioned the the service we received we were told by the manager we have many customers and were basically dismissed he couldn't care less. To say we were disappointed with the way we were treated is an understatement it is an experience we will not be repeating by giving...
