ABY's Biryani Bolton — Restaurant in Bolton

The food was below average, I couldn't believe they served a lamb and potato biryani in plastic containers. The biryani lacked meat pieces, it was full of rice and bones. My friend was disappointed. The only plus was that the server was generous enough to accept the money we'd given him, we were short by 20p, however in all honesty, our total cost for blandand mediocre food was a price not worth paying.

In comparison, I've had biryani at rice and three, their portions and the quality of food supercedes, hence why they've been an established brand in Bolton for over 25 years.

Unfortunately ABYs, I do not intend to visit your establishment again, if this is the standard of food and service you're delivering, I'm not surprised your Halliwell Road branch shut down. We shall be avoiding ABYs...

I ordered through Deliveroo as the Abys in crumpsall is really good. However I was extremely let down. I ordered two chicken biryanis, only for one of the biriyanis to come with lamb bones, chicken and what appeared to be dates mixed with other food. This a massive cross contamination issue as clearly other food have been mixed in. They then missed off extra parts of our order such as the drinks and sides. When I rang up they said I would have to drive to them and they would give me a biriyani, when I said I just want a refund for only one of the biryanis, I am not driving down due to it costing more, they began to be funny with me. I put my partner on the phone and they end the line while saying the signal is gone.

I recently tried ABY's Biriyani and I have to say, it was absolutely delicious! The blend of spices and flavors was just right, and the meat was cooked to perfection. The rice was also cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of moisture. I especially loved the tender chicken pieces in the biriyani. The portion size was generous and filling, making it a great value for money.

The service was also top-notch - the staff were friendly, welcoming and made the whole experience a pleasure. I highly recommend ABY's Biriyani to anyone who loves great-tasting, authentic Indian food.
