A stark WARNING to any decent individual who is thinking about even enquiring at this place: AVOID ENROLLING, NO MATTER WHAT! DO NOT SUBJECT YOURSELF TO WASTING ANY OF YOUR PRECIOUS TIME, ENERGY, FINANCES, COMMITMENT AND POTENTIAL AT THIS INCREDIBLY INSIDIOUS INSTITUTION.
This place has been intentionally and viciously designed to cater only to the worst of humanity and it is only those specimens who will benefit; it’s really not worthy of its ranking in the top Universities guide and has to be rigged.
Just some of many, ongoing, unaddressed flaws include (in-no-particular-order):
too much wrong and nothing works slow/no responses widening disparities inadequate support for marginalised students undisciplined bullying and harassment across campus questionable staff additional support not provided in the timeframe required false marketing no action from lecturers when they see and hear racism or other forms of unacceptable behaviours within their seminars no suspension of abusive students immediate suspension of students who dare to stand up for themselves in difficult situations failure to liaise with SFE to ensure students’ income per term is tailored to their individual circumstances boring and time consuming seminars which provide no real value or preparation for assignments or examinations allowing students of their twisted preference to waltz into the seminars extremely late (frequently) at whichever hour they please, to abuse other students, to spread vitriol, to dodge any punishment corrupt strategies used by twisted management the student support fund is not made straightforward to apply for and they deny it those who really need the paymen during severe hardship mistreatment of learners with any form of disadvantage ie disabilities, additional needs, estrangement, visible differences, ethnic minority status, financial barriers aggressive and inappropriate library security in their 24 hour library who have no training in basic communication skills or disability awareness no tolerance of individuals or groups who don’t look like the traditional student or staff members frequent rule breakers in areas such as the silent area in the silent area which the library staff on duty do not monitor nor challenge they want to rebrand to the University of Greater Manchester so that apparently it’ll benefit the town as a whole when what they ought to be prioritising the fixing of their evidently broken infrastructures and ensuring that existing students are getting their money’s worth ie a great higher education that fully prepares them for a fantastic career dropouts, broken office chairs, grumpy catering staff, lecturers waiting outside locked yet booked rooms with their students; childish behaviour by individuals who are all adults ; it’s like a comedy show cancellations with no valid reasons some of their graduates can barely string together a sentence in standard British English yet they somehow hold PHDs dangerous criminals allowed onto campus no respect for consent and confidentiality regularly compromises on basic a very depressing atmosphere with people of a backwards mentality failure to provide a safe, inclusive, equitable, nurturing and exciting learner environment for genuine learners to excel within or to develop their professional career deeply damaging for the overall well-being of vulnerable individuals immature staff and students who fail to demonstrate that this is supposed to be a higher education community respect from decent students is not reciprocated by the horrible staff
There is literally nothing and no one to praise within The University of Bolton. If you choose to disobey my concerned warning, you will regret it. On the other hand, you’ll thank me when the entire truth will surface about its grotesque governance, in time.
Life’s too fragile for grave mistakes; don’t study here, find somewhere morally good, enjoy your life, make good choices, be your best, shine your light and I’m sure you’ll be...

On 14th August 2025, I attended an interview for the Administrative Assistant role at 10:15am, only for the entire process to be derailed due to HR’s misdirection and then followed by a wrongful judgement on my conduct.
I arrived early (9:05am) at the University of Bolton main reception, presented my documents, and waited to be collected. At 10:17am, I was taken to a room and met with an 2 interview panel only to discover they were interviewing for an entirely different role (IT Desk Support). When I showed my confirmation email, the panel confirmed HR had sent me to the wrong location and that I should have been at the School of Medicine.
I was given their address and phoned for parking instructions while driving. The phone line was poor, voices were unclear, and I had to raise my voice to be heard — not out of anger, but purely to be understood. The call disconnected, and upon arrival I apologised for the delay and explained the situation.
To my shock, I was told by (Iqbal Singh, Tim Pearson, and Jade McCann) the interview would not go ahead because I had allegedly been “rude” and “shouted” at reception. This was completely false and based on assumption, ignoring the fact that the situation was caused entirely by HR’s error and poor phone quality.
I am a professional with over 23 years in the UK workforce, holding both a BA and MSc, and have never faced such dismissive, prejudiced, and unprofessional treatment in a recruitment process. I apologised multiple times, pushed through stress, asthma, and a migraine to still attend — yet my effort and professionalism were ignored.
This experience has been deeply distressing and damaging to my wellbeing, and I would strongly urge the University of Bolton’s HR department to review their recruitment process and communication standards.
Discrimination, Racism & One-Sided Cover-Ups at University of Bolton
I was denied a fair interview for the Administrative Assistant role after repeated HR mistakes, yet instead of accountability, I was blamed, humiliated, and discriminated against.
At the Medical School, Mr. Sanjay showed racist, biased, one-sided behaviour, dismissing me without courtesy and refusing my interview. The University then defended Ms. Sara Pajo, backed up by Mr. Sanjay himself making the entire process one-sided, biased, and designed to make me look guilty.
What a disgraceful and disgusting way to treat a candidate. Instead of fairness, I was met with cover-ups, protection of staff, and a complete lack of accountability.
Universitie of Bolton are supposed to stand for equality, inclusion, and professionalism but here I experienced the exact opposite: racism, bias, and institutional...
Read moreIf I would give minus rating then I could give -1000 Rating!!! Be aware! from this university of Bolton. Don't even think of paying them the deposit! First, they will promise to give you the CAS just after you will pay the deposit, but just after paying it, they will ask you to appear for credibility interview and due to unknown reason, they will fail you in the credibility interview and then forget the CAS. They don't even reply to email and calls after taking deposit. Try it if you don't believe me, Good luck!
The bad thing is that they are not professional, in my case I passed the credibility interview (CAS) and the interviewer confirmed it, but then I have received another email that it was unsuccessful! Also, be careful about your payment refund. They will charge a lot and cut the money without any reason. They do not stick with their own statement. In my case, they told me that they will refund me 6580GBP, but they only send me 6240.78 GBP only. Means, they cut huge amount of my refund. Even account department is worst. They exchanged the account at the time of payment. Also, I was told that will receive my refund in 21 days but, I got it after more than 3 months. They cut the money and tell us that due to exchange rate your amount was deducted. They think us fool. If you don't believe me and want to test them then just ask them to take your credibility interview before paying the deposit! You will get awesome...
