Blue Café — Restaurant in Bolton

Not a bad place to eat.. Had a fair few breakfasts in here and the breakfasts are good. I've tried the quarter pounder cheese burger on 2 occasions. On both occasions, the buns crumbled, literally fell apart, I only ate the burger pate on its own. Ordered chips (extra £2.00), smallest portion I've ever seen, not worth £2 really.

Whilst waiting to order, I saw a women in there, think the mum, pouring a can of Princess Chilli Con Carni into one of those see through catering tubs and then wrapped with cling film, I looked at the menu, can't remember exact price now but around £7 odd for and get this, HOMEMADE Chilli Con Carni with rice/chips, out of a Princess tin? Hardly homemade.

My partner had Jacket Potatoe with Tuna Mayo, it was quite tasteless and expensive, there were tuna bits in it that had hardened/discoloured in the fridge, so been in there a while..

Don't get me wrong, they are friendly and service is good, the breakfasts are excellent too, but to be honest, I wouldn't touch anything else on the menu as they either over priced, not as described (Homemade) or been in...

Be very careful with this cafe, they poison people if offered money too. My relatives partner went to the counter, and spoke to the old guy with white hair and glasses, offered him £100 to put a tyepod in my elderly grandfathers cup of tea. ( he came into some money ) not long after he died off sepsis. See the pattern ? Avoid ! Place needs closing down. Struggled to find somewhere that was a) open or b) actually serving off the menu at lunchtime on a Sunday. There was loads of choice, every item of the breakfast was cooked perfectly and it was decent value for what we got. Only slight negative was that they already put milk in the teas which wasn't an issue for me but the wife only drinks black tea so was slightly presumptuous and I ended up drinking them both but I really enjoyed the food and would absolutely...
