Awful place to live except for cheap food shops. Litter, fly tipping, broken glass and burnt out bins everywhere that the local people just drop on the ground & all over the park & council cleaner up on regular basis instead of charging the slovenly inconsiderate culprits fines who care for nobody else or the environment. Took dogs in the park this evening as usual once temperature had cooled to be faced with three trial bikes racing through with a deafening noise frightening both people & dogs on their way round the housing around Carlton Street on their way the fields by the country park - which the police do nothing about whatsoever. Read moreGreat little park right in centre of Farnworth. Enough space for plenty of dog walkers and ample bins for dog poo bags, a play area for smaller kids. The park it kept very clean and tidy as well as the kids play area with all bins emptied regular never seen one over flowing yet, well done Bolton MBC.
