Riahan Indian — Local services in Bolton

Well I stopped ordering from hear a year ago because planned deliveries were consistently late. Decided to give it another go tonight it appears nothing has changed despite ordering 2 hours prior to our expected delivery time,after 2 calls to ask where our food was it turned up over 30 minutes late and very luke warm.after we reheated it. The whole thing turned out to be totally inedible. The predominant flavour was salt,the order was,tandoori mixed grills,jalfrezi sauce pilau rice, chapati and poppadoms with onions and mint sauce. The meats were older and tougher than a blacklpool donkey, the chicken was obviously hard chicken (old boiling hen) and the lamb was obviously mutton. The only thing worth eating was the poppadoms and chapati. So we paid £22 for a chapati and 2 poppadoms. Not good service, not good food and certainly not good value. Riahan you've had your 2nd chance and last chance never again. An awful disgusting experience never to be re visited,my 1 star rating is...

Food is always very good. Fresh ingredients and perfectly prepared. We have collected from Riahan and had it delivered, our order has always been ready to collect and delivered on time which is a testament to the staff as they're always busy. The 'freebies' we receive with our orders are great, we have, in the past, receive 'new item testers' free with our order and asked for feedback, again this is a real testiment to the guys. Its good to know the Riahan guys are looking for feedback on prospective menu changes/additions. The takeaway is very clean and tidy.

Used to be a regular customer but the last few orders have been shocking. Food arrived over an hour late this weekend (when it was already an hour wait). When it came, both bags smelled like they’d been sat with somebody smoking a pack of cigarettes. Food was cold and the packaging was all squashed, leaving all the curry to spill over the bag. After speaking to the store, we was told to contact the manager and he would respond, he never did. Shocking takeaway service. Do not recommend unless you want to wait over 2 hours for food, eat burnt poppadoms and a cold curry that smells of...
