Bolton Market Food Hall — Restaurant in Bolton

Terrible! We went on Saturday night around 7pm expecting some food good and a buzzing atmosphere but we got neither. Given the local council has supposedly spend millions building it onto the side of the market it's appalling. It feels like a annex, a narrow building tacked onto the side with long narrow tables and benches. When we went it felt like a school dining room with young kids running around and screaming. We attempted to get something to eat but there was no vegetarian food, despite some of the food vendors advertising them. These included; Birysni Bazaar, Katsu Katsu & Caribbean Food. The only decent place was Chill, the only bar, who had some decent cocktails priced £6.95 or 2 for £12, and the girl serving was very polite...

There are 9 stalls in the food hall. These included bubble tea and bubble waffle sweet drinks & desserts place, Chill wine and beer, Indian food, Kebab shop, Caribbean food, Burger shop, Japanese food & Don, Italian pizza and spaghetti and Chicken rice and curry pork chop rice etc.

Bubble waffle with ice cream topping and the bubble tea combo set is very reasonable of £7.2 and the waffle is crispy and fresh. If you take bubble waffle with chocolate topping and upgrade to large bubble milk tea, it is £5.9 only. The bubble tea is really Taiwanese style. We tasted fried chicken from Caribbean stall, lamb with vegetables from Kebab shop and chicken rice from Indian restaurant. Everything is delicious. I will try other restaurants later on...

Went to the foodhall on a Saturday afternoon to see what it was like, I would avoid like the plague, Prices are expensive and you can get better food cheaper elsewhere, still, i decided to give it a chance and ordered a kebab which took an eternity to arrive as the staff were using my food to do publicity photos, when it finally arrived it was cold but I ate it anyway due to the cost and the amount of time it took to arrive, I suspect this was a big mistake as a day later I contracted a severe case of food poisoning which put me out of...
