German Doner Kebab (GDK) — Restaurant in Bolton

Food has always been fresh and tasty only reason I’ve gave them a 3 star is because of the portion sizes. But I can live with that. Hence the reason being a returning customer. However this time I had a different experience at the Deane road branch. I ordered my food and sat down. Shortly after a worker came from the counter and asked a couple of lads ( his same religion) how was the food? They replied it was good thankyou. The worker then asked the two lads could he leave them a review online in exchange for free Food. They was happy to do so. The worker then went back behind the counter where he made a short timed eye contact with myself. After waiting patiently for my food. I noticed the shop was getting busy with uber/just eat orders. They got prioritised and gave the worker there orders. Atleast 3-4 uber eats drivers , all of the same religion. and they all got asked the question. Would they like to review the company for exchange for some free food. Again, they was delighted with the offer. Now I ask the question, why wasn’t I asked? The reason I keep mentioning a different religion. Is because I also believe that’s the reason I didn’t get asked the question. Because of my religion. Will be my last time returning. I recently visited German Doner Kebab in Bolton, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The doner kebab was packed with perfectly seasoned meat, crisp salad, and the sauces complemented everything wonderfully. The presentation was great, and it truly lived up to the hype.

What made the visit even more memorable was the excellent service provided by Maryan. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. Her warm smile, attentive attitude, and genuine care for customers were truly commendable. She worked efficiently while also taking the time to make sure everything was perfect for us.

Honestly, Maryan is an absolute gem, and her dedication deserves to be recognized. In my opinion, she’s more than deserving of a pay rise. Exceptional service like hers is rare and should be rewarded!

I recently visited German Doner Kebab in Bolton, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, the restaurant was clean, modern, and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and quick to serve – a real credit to the GDK brand.

I ordered the Original German Doner Kebab Meal, and it was hands down one of the best kebabs I've ever had. The meat was perfectly grilled, tender, and full of flavour, while the fresh salad and signature sauces added the perfect balance. The bread was warm, soft, and fresh, which really brought the whole kebab together. The fries were crispy and seasoned just right – and the portion size was more than generous.

What stood out most was the quality and consistency of the food – it’s nothing like your typical kebab shop. GDK really does take the doner experience to another level.
