Greenhalgh's — Restaurant in Bolton

Had a sausage roll from here before and there was a blue plaster inside the sausage roll, I returned it and stated that in hospitality and catering you wear a blue plaster so it's easily spotted if it comes off rather than a brown one so I'm not sure how one misses such a disaster of a mistake, I was told that no one on shift that day has a plaster on (probably because it was in my sausage roll) the older women then began too laugh and told me if I have a problem take it up with management I did exactly this and still to this day yet to receive a phone call and or letter from HR, if you enjoy greenhalghs food with a hint of unhygienic members of staff whom don't wash their hands nor wear hair nets nor gloves (during a pandemic) then this spot is for you. Not to mention the bread rolls they sell are out...

Went in today and got served by a right miserable sod. No customer service, no please, no thankyou. Failed the basics of a customer facing roll. How the conversation went. I walked in. He said, what you having. I said a sausage roll and a meat and pot pasty PLEASE. proceeds to put in the bag, places it on the counter. Tells me the price. I then said PLEASE in a sarcastic kind of way. Looked at me like I was alien, took my card payment and walked off. Absolutely atrocious to know this is the future. I actually went here to get some black peas, around bonfire night time, and i have to say they were some of the best black peas i have had. Really impressed. The whole family was fighting for the last tub. Otherwise i have only had the cheese pasties, which are also quite nice. Friendly staff, and priced as expected. And also a...
