Just incredibly disappointing all round. I have lived in the area for a long time and finally decided to try this place as i had a cashback voucher for a drink and wanted to try the food. Before I even got in the door, a chav in the beer garden decided to shout abuse at me because I am disabled and have trouble walking. Almost turned around and left. But I go in and ask about food and am told there is no chef so no food. Pity they didn't tell me this when I rang earlier to see if it was open. So I then order my thatchers cider with itemised receipt and lo and behold the receipt has the wrong drink name on because they "haven't updated the till." So my cashback claim was refused. All in all, wish I hadn't bothered. And probably won't bother again.

What a let down after reading such good reviews. Went to Little Lever. Staff where friendly but not really professional, on their phones, eating food, smoking e.cigs at the bar. For some reason 3 staff had to recheck our order was correct, but in the end it was still incorrect when it came put to be served. It was only an order for 3 people and it wasn't busy. Also they was informed about an allergy yet food came out that would've caused an allergic reaction which was a bit concerning. On asking for the bill staff said they was going to discount the bill due to the mix up..not that we had complained or asked for this, sonit was a nice gesture. However the bill came to us at full price !! Couldn't be bothered saying anything, just wanted to get out....

Had a brilliant meal here. Been a couple of times now and food is a joy. The apple pie dessert is spectacular especially considering we are not dessert people. Pork chop was ridiculously good, the beast burger was one of the best I have had anywhere and the summer salad was amazing. Really good value for money and Caitlin who served us was happy, funny and made the meal for us. This is a restaurant in a pub so you have to expect some noise but the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming with everyone saying hello as if you were old friends.
