Kaspa's Bolton — Restaurant in Bolton

Upon arrival I was told abruptly to find a seat. When I got to the table, the seat was covered in what I presume was syrup which ruined my jeans. The table was filthy and had remnants of the previous diners food. This was very disappointing as I was told to find a seat, and numerous tables were caked in similar debris so I was forced to eat my food stood up. I came towards closing time so the staff were waiting to clean the tables after trading hours. I ordered a cookie dough and waffle. The waffle was luke warm and very dense, and covered in strawberries which looked like they were sat there for a hours untouched. The chocolate covering it was cheap tasting and did not compliment the waffle. The cookie dough was also luke warm. The ice cream had melted by the time it got to our table and was definitely not the ‘best ice cream in bolton’ as stated outside. This place is unparalleled to other desert parlours such as gelato passion and moonlight. We had travelled 7/8 miles to try this place out and will definitely not be back.

In addition, the bald guy behind the counter was extremely rude, aggressive and abrupt. He should definitely not be dealing with...

First impressions of the place were good on arrival. The place is smart, clean and well presented. Sat down in a 2 seater booth and was handed 2 small menus. We were advised to go to till and order using our table number. Qued for around 10 mins to place our order. After paying for 2 deserts, £22!! We attempted to go back to our seats only to find that the host had given our seats away to 2 new potential customers. After the whole palaver, the couple who had been given our seats were relocated and we awaited our food. 30/45 mins passed and my partner received her food. It took the restaurant and numerous complaints around 10/20mins for my food to arrive. By the time my food came, my partners food was almost stone cold. It was alarming to hear several other customers around the restaurant also complaining for loss of food, items missing and etc. The food once arrived wasnt actually that bad but certainly wasn’t worth the price at all. In my opinion, there are many more desert shops around worthy of that kind of price tag. Wouldn’t be recommending this...

Went in yesterday evening, I ordered what I was told was a gluten free cheesecake & an iced coffee, my partner ordered an “Oreo Crunch” waffle - my “gluten free” cheesecake was still frozen and my partners Oreo crunch waffle was soggy with no actual Oreo pieces on it, just a few Oreo crumbs. I’ve woken up this morning unwell which leads me to believe the cheesecake was not gluten free. I didn’t eat anything else yesterday so it could have only been the cheesecake that caused me to be unwell . The staff weren’t very attentive at all (it was quiet in there so not like they had lots of customers to serve) nor did they have a uniform or hairnets which seemed rather unhygienic. The atmosphere in the place was rather a depressing one, no music, minimal lighting and it was freezing. Safe to say I will not be returning. I would usually complain there and then but the staff members did not appear like they would have been bothered and my allergen reaction had not kicked in...
