I share my recent experiences at the BL3 2PQ branch, experiences that have left me more than just disappointed. Imagine the anticipation of a comforting meal, only to be met with the stark reality of cold fries—twice. The first instance might be overlooked as a simple mistake, but when my order was missing fries entirely on a previous visit, it's hard not to feel overlooked and undervalued as a customer.
Tom, the manager, did extend an apology and issued a refund for the oversight, a gesture of goodwill that I apricide, despite the fact that I was left with no snack during my night shift. However, the pattern of repeated mishaps speaks to a larger issue within the branch that apologies alone cannot mend. The essence of drive-through service is not just convenience but also reliability and warmth, both in service and in the meals we look forward to.
I find myself compelled to offer a word of caution to future patrons: Please, check your order before driving away. Ensure that not only is everything present, but that your food is served hot and fresh, as it should be. It's a small step that I wish were unnecessary, a safeguard against the disappointment of returning to the office with less than what you paid for—both in terms of items and quality - HORRIBLE FEELING.
Regrettably, I must advise against visiting this particular McDonald's drive-through. A place where the warmth of the food pales in comparison to the chill of disappointment. My hope is that this feedback serves as a catalyst for change, a call to elevate standards and reignite the commitment to customer satisfaction. Until then, I find myself searching for that sense of comfort and...
Read moreMcDonald’s on Manchester road in Bolton is the worst I’ve been to. Every single time I’ve been through the drive through without fail the order either has something missing or is wrong. Tonight was my latest attempt at getting what I asked and paid for and ordering just a grand Big Mac with bacon a large fries and 2 hamburgers I thought they can’t possibly get this wrong but they did. I got a standard Big Mac and that was after having to wait nearly 15 mins in the drive through. There was only 2 cars in front of me and the restraunt was empty. Slow service as always, incorrect order yet again and the staff are incompetent with poor people skills. The place is run by kids. I’ll continue to go because I can’t wait for the day they get something right. Judging by everyone’s reviews I’m not the only one experiencing the same problem. I will continue to sit in the drive through checking every item and hold up everyone behind me until that day comes. Never known such incompetence. It’s not exactly rocket science to put the correct items in the bag especially when it’s only a...
Read moreThe staff are either polite and friendly or indifferent and act like you are bothering them. Drive thru service and food is hit & miss... food is mostly miss so I'd recommend driving further for orders that are complete and warm.
Cheeseburger (requested extra onions and pickles) came with zero pickles, zero mustard and extra ketchup?! Mcflurry came with zero toppings or sauce and half melted lol.
Occasionally the fries will be hot. Burgers are often put together haphazardly with fillings hanging off the bread or missing altogether. Don't bother ordering large fries, they are rarely full (see images- 2 separate orders). I suggest ordering 2 small instead or scrutinising your order once received.
Napkins aren't usually given and when ordering coffee, why don't staff ask if you want sugar? Or at least don't look irritated when asked for. It would be good if McDonalds were to do the same as McDonalds in Australia- where the coffee is made by a barista and there are dairy...
