Spice-Valley Egerton — Restaurant in Bolton

Ordered via Uber Eats having had a couple of nice meals from here. To say it was a dreadful meal would be an understatement, without casting aspersions, frozed reheated food that was not acceptable causing immedite sickness. Mixed Kebab Starter had a mushy tepid prawn, tandoored from frozen IMO. The Massala Chops, though generous in portion, were again pre cooked to be so soft but converneed about the reheating and freshness as they were masked with a sour ghee taste that was beyond offputting and subsequantley 'released'. The Chana was ok, as too the samosa but the Raga Chicken again had a scent of old ghee and was unedible. As mentioned, to date i have havent had a bad experience from here, my historic reviews are always fair but this was a disgrace, to be so sick and disappointed not to mention £55.73 down. Was really looking forward to eating here but was bitterly disappointed. Staff took our order which included poppadoms and chutney tray which were small portions and didn't include a chilli dip and raw onion without any kind of dressing. For mains we ordered 2 chicken tikka mains with massala sauce 1 pilau rice, 1 mushroom rice and a garlic naan. The manager came and asked if the order was correct as the waitress had only written down 1 main (which was the wrong dish anyway) and I explained again what we had ordered i.e. 2 mains. We only got 1 main which consisted of 6 pieces of bland chicken 1 mushroom rice 1 garlic naan and a very small container of some kind of sauce which definitely wasn't massala. Came here for my daughter’s birthday. Staff were very friendly offered a private room put her balloons up for arrival. On arrival there was a lot of confusion with the drinks. Disappointing on starters dip tray only had 3 options and had to pay extra for pickle, did miss the chilli sauce. Curry’s someof them were quite nice. One person had vindaloo which said it wasn’t that spicy as was the Jalfrezi, the salad was quite expensive however very tasty. Everyone had finished working the bill was very tricky (11 people) not much help splitting this I ended up paying an additional £30. They hadn’t brought the cake out everyone was already paying so I asked for the cake back, however the staff member insisted on doing this whilst we were all in the foyer was quite embarrassing quite unorganised.
