Syd's Chicken and Pizza — Restaurant in Bolton

It was okay as some of the food was nice . Like pizza and chips , donner kebab was okay too. It was tasty but not like a resturant in manchester on cheetham hill road .. i usually like there chicken shawarma but it's too hard to everytime go there . .This one is good too but they always forget to put red salt on the chips even though you pay for that online when you place an order ! Secondly , their delivery is a bit late everytime and because of this fries usually don't seem fresh . But i love their fries alot, just want them to eat fresh with the red salt which they forgets everytime ! Hope they listen and tries to make it right next time. They got chicken biryani as well but there rice were hard as they were not soaked well or they were not cooked properly !! You can even smell the strong aroma as well when they are not washed properly . !!! Other than the rice itself the gravy and chicken were good !! Will try the fries and pizza next time again but not impressed by other stuff sadly. For me...

Normally don’t do bad reviews unless it’s shockingly bad which this experience was. Ordered online for delivery at 12:40am and the food didn’t turn up until 2:15am!! Called at 1:20am to get an update, the staff member said that the food was ready and that they were waiting for a driver. So my food was sitting in the shop for over an hour which I could tell from when it turned up when the chips were dry, soggy and inedible and the pizza was stale. I said to the guy on the phone if you could add sauces and tell the driver not to knock due to family sleeping, which I also put on the notes. And you can guess what happened, no sauces not even on the chips like I asked, and the driver banged on the door so hard it was as if he wanted to knock it down!! Obviously family woke up, not even a normal knock or gentle knock it was like he wanted to do the door in. Overall poor service and a waste of time and money. The food is normally good when I go in store but wouldn’t choose...

I don’t write reviews ever, but I am that disappointed with this takeaway tonight. We ordered for delivery. I would say we only live 5mins away and yet our food took 1.5hrs to arrive and was cold and chips in plastic bag sweating away which had made the paper bag they were in wet through. I would guess the food had been sat there for an hour before someone bothered to sent it to us. The pizza when I tasted it was like cardboard. It hurt my throat swallowing it. The chips were soggy and a piece of chicken that didn’t taste of anything. I’m sorry but this is not good enough. Especially considering the cost of food is extortionate enough without ruining it completely making it a complete waste. The fundamentals of a take away is to make nice food, deliver it still at an edible temperature within a punctual timescale. None of which occurred from this takeaway. We won’t be ever...
