I didn’t order anything but I was at the bar with my friends the bar staffs customer service was atrocious they said my friends ID’s are fake when they’re not and the don’t accept citizens card due to fake ones going about but all you need to check if a citizen card is real is the free app, and to check driving licenses and passports all you need is a uv light it isn’t hard as I work in a bar myself there was no need to be rude to us when we did nothing wrong. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Really enjoyed my recent visit here! The food was very tasty and reasonably priced, and the whole place was spotlessly clean. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and attentive – the landlady in particular couldn’t do enough to make sure everyone was looked after. Always enjoy the Bowling Green for a pint or two. Very often some excellent bands play on a Friday evening. Shame too often find some unpleasant types in or outside the pub being a bit edgy or aggressive. Would security on the door make matters better or worse? - I don't know.
