Me and my parents came down to lytham Saint Anne’s for the weekend To celebrate my birthday, to celebrate my birthday we googled Indian takeaway‘s and Gemma came up we put in the postcode, we didn’t even realise the satnav took us directly Outside the takeaway/restaurant We asked somebody where Gemma takeaway was and they pointed at the takeaway/restaurant We didn’t recognise it because it looked like a deserted closed shop, it wasn’t lit up, and did not exactly stand out as a takeaway/restaurant. Anyway I ordered a vegetable madras mushroom pilau rice and a garlic naan bread, My dad ordered a Madras vegetable curry, and a chapati, and my mother ordered a lamb madras, When we got back to our Hotel, my dad’s meal was missing, there was no mushrooms whatsoever in my pillar rice, there was no garlic in my garlic naan bread that I ordered, and no veg in my vegetable curry, there was not one single piece of meat in my mothers lamb madras, it was just curry sauce, A member of staff called the restaurant and told them what has happened, and to be fair they came round with the missing curry within 15 minutes, although there was no veg in my vegetable curry it...
Read moreGood meal for us as a group, ordered drinks but they forgot one so had to remind them, maybe it was because they were very busy? They did do a lot of take aways there as well. Did not order poppadoms, which cost £1, then they came out with poppadoms and said they were complementary, strange!. The food was good and hot, and the service was alright. Coffees afterwards was a bit iffy as they brought out cream/ milk, which only served 2-3 people at best, and had to ask for more at least twice. They gave you hand and face wipe afterwards that were nice and warm, and then complementary shots afterwards, which was nice and unexpected (- brandy and baileys) So good place to eat, service good, very busy restuarant, prices are aright, it is not a very big restuarant so would advise booking first just to be on...
Read moreI recently visited GEMMA Indian Restaurant in St Annes and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The menu offered a great selection of both traditional and modern Indian dishes.
I particularly enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala and the freshly baked naan bread. The food was flavorful, and the portions were generous. The staff especially Mamun Hussain and Ekram Hussain were attentive and provided excellent service, making sure all our needs were met.
Overall, GEMMA is a wonderful spot for anyone craving delicious Indian cuisine in St Annes. Highly...
