McDonald's — Restaurant in Borough of Pendle

Go to KFC nearby. If you ask why just read my story or experience on your own. While ordering at this mccdonalds i noticed hair on the table just as the old lady was taking my order. I choose large menu but it looked like a small kid one. When i asked if its large just to make sure she didnt look very positive and just said yea everything is large. Alright then i take my food and sit down, not the cleanest place but ok. When i look down to decide what i should start with there it is another piece of fine hair. Ok lost some appetite at that point but i just start on some fries. Guess what fries were cold and super salty. Mozzarella sticks werent that fresh either. Burger meat was hard to chew on and bread was like plastic , only the salad was fresh. Got tons of ice in my drink wich i was never asked for. Thanks to the bbq sauce i made everything taste better so i could eat. I go back to ask for a milkshake and i was served by a nice pretty young girl. Thank you that girl was really nice and smiling being positive she made me forget about the bad experience. Just saying but i think the old lady was kind of manager or something she just wanted to get rid of me as fast as possible with my order. They had a long queue at drive-tru so maybe thats why but still only few people inside and like 2 ordering. They were also handing a document and paper to each one idk to sign something was pretty unprofessional while serving people. It was chaos over the counter. I tried kfc the other day just nearby and it was heaven compared to this mccdonalds. I was even asked if i want ice in my ice tea at kfc. Ladies wore gloves and hair nets. Much better, see for yourself. Look out for hair at mccdonalds...

WAR OF THE ROSES

It was lunchtime and my wife and I, were driving through Colne (Lancashire) Now you need to understand that buying anything in Colne is always a challenge because of the language barrier.......you see I'm from the Mighty Yorkshire

We decided to call at McDonalds and I thought I might try one of the new limited time 'Monster Big Macs'.

I've never had one and thought it will be lunch and dinner all in one. I won't have to think about eating later on.😁

I ordered in my bestest and most politest Yorkshire accent and the response was either:

I'm sorry sir, they have sold out

Or

Filthy Yorkshirman....We don't serve these to the likes of you. Be on your way before I call the boys

If I'm really honest, I couldn't really tell what she had said for sure because Folk from Lancashire don't speak proper like what I do.

Anyway, after some difficulties, I ordered a cheeseburger and sloped off to a seat where I sat with my back to the wall and I could eavesdrop on other people's conversations.

What a waste of time, these people might as well have been speaking Mandarin

I nearly rang Social Services when I overheard a young mum ordering ass cream for her 3 year old, then I realised it was Ice cream

Arrived to a chaotic entrance with everyone crammed in between the counter and self order not knowing whats going on. Mix of people ordering at the terminals and waiting for the counter. Who ever was ordering at the counter barely got served. I did my order at the machine and had no recipt to prove my order for taking away. Waited what felt like a life time for food to be brought out on a tray and the staff packed it in front of me, while doing this most the chips fell out the package and she started scooping them up with her hands and put them in the bag. After all this I handed the staff a monopoly token for a cheeseburger asking if it was okay for me to have to which she took off me and walked away and left me standing there for quite some time as the counter never got used. I asked another staff member about it and she told me to move so other customers could get to the counter which I was mindful of and out the way already but I still moved. Would have been nice to put a please in there. After waiting some time and seeing the staff member who took my token just milling about I finally got to someone and told them about why I'm still stood here and they seemed confused by their own promotional offers then finally got me my food.
