I really wasn't going to leave this, but unfortunately, I'm appalled at the response from the "owner" on the feedback of the customer experience. There were 4 of us that came in earlier, and we are all separately entitled to an opinion on the experience/service/food received in the cafe. I appreciate that it's a small venue and can be a tight squeeze, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were friendly. To make a dig about the tap water being free is a bit petty considering we spent a fair a bit in the cafĂŠ. The presentation of the salad was lovely. The actual food itself wasn't that great. It didn't seem fresh at all, and that's what you could taste. I would expect a cafe like this to be a bit more "authentic." I wouldn't recommend the flatbreads at all. Anyway, the mac and cheese croquet were forgotten about, but to be fair, the staff sorted this out pretty quickly once they had realised. ( I'm not sure how it was forgotten, especially because we had quite a lengthly discussion about whether there were any other options for mac and cheese). Also, when it comes to reimbursements, I'm surprised at your comment of even suggesting there was a cleaning fee! Bit confused at whether this is sarcasm over some criticism. I don't want my money back from you. I just hope you take the feedback on board rather than getting "offended." Hope other customers have better experiences in the future! But we will not be coming here again.

A delightful find on a flying work visit in this little market town. Although it advertises itself as an ice-cream shop, it is much more than that, selling a very acceptable range of snacks and cakes. The welcome was warm and jolly, and the service quick and efficient. The atmosphere is basic but quaint. The set-up is entirely Covid secure with track and trace being implemented, ample supplies of sanitiser, a good distance between the tables, and cleaning of table and chairs between customers. There are no toilet or washroom facilities (due to Covid risk assessment, and too many touch points, the man behind the counter told me apologetically). However it did sound as though they weren't accessible to people with limited movement, as they sounded as though they were downstairs and round a corner. However despite this inconvenience, I would recommend a visit should you ever find yourself in Barnoldswick town centre.

Excellent cafe with really high quality food, especially for the prices! So many times we've been out and spent a fortune on rubbish food, but this was really good. We spotted they had really good vegan options so thought we'd try, and they even had Thunder and Lightning vegan ice cream 😍 Chef was so lovely along with the staff. Such a nice find and can't wait to return.

Anybody with any basic knowledge regarding the fundamentals of catering will come to a conclusion that there are serious improvements to be made to this business if it wishes to continue to thrive. The only aspect that keeps this business going is the fact that they do not face a sheer amount of competition due to it being in a town which has a relatively small population. Therefore, it is understandable as to why this restaurant has received so much positive feedback. The service and politeness of the staff were exceptional. Although my order of mac and cheese croquettes were delayed, I appreciate the welcoming atmosphere that was provided by the employees. However, the quality of food requires a drastic change. I am not writing this review in pursuit of a refund for mine or any of my family’s meals. I am simply suggesting that the way in which the food is prepared...
