I am still trying to get a refund for 17.99 for a pizza I never had.on 10/8/21i ordered a pizza for pick up which I duly cancelled because the member of staff was rude on the phone.a few days later I saw I had been charged. I called in to the store to get a refund and was told this could only be done by head office and I should email them.this I promptly did and after 3 emails and no money back I called head office.i was then told they couldn't refund me even tho they could see I did not receive the pizza.i was told to contact the store owner but they could not tell me who the store owner is so they would contact him for me and call me back when this was done.i received no call back and 24/8/21 I am still waiting for a refund.i have now contacted my bank and they have said that they will do a chargeback to get me my money. The service at Dominos is woeful to put it mildly but even worse the pathetic customer service goes right through to head office.All I can say is do not deal with a global franchise.stay with a local business there are plenty of good ones in this area who give good service better product and half the price of dominoes overpriced dross. Read moreI'd only recently started ordering from this place on the regular - but never again from this branch. I was trying to put in an online order and I had to call the store, and while the person who initially took my call was trying to help (they were courteous and green and you could tell they were young), they eventually passed me onto a colleague and as soon as they came on the phone, I was greeted with such discontent and anger...the tone was unreal, like I had offended them for just existing. I was pleasant, not even rude in the initial call - as we tried to navigate together on the issue at hand. I was immediately made to feel very uncomfortable - I kept my composure, even though I was taken aback...wasn't rude and decided not to order as I didn't want any 'extras' on my pizza that I didn't order. It is a shame because the food, although, pricey, is good and the delivery drivers are great, if I didn't have an issue, not having to call in, I would have been non the wiser and continued to order from them. Perhaps they had ran out on the evening that I had ordered. The Pizza itself was edible, ironically I have ordered from different Domino's in the past and food has been nothing short of horrible, the pizza inedible or just about okay, the potato wedges, undercooked, dry, or stone cold, its always a disgrace. I have given three stars given that I did manage to eat the food and within reason enjoy it. One other thing worth mentioning, the delivery guy, forgot that a drink came with the Pizza, then it was a wait for him to run back to the car, the only reason why I had remembered this, was that, on my pre-note to the restaurant I asked for the food to be left outside, as I am a disabled customer and cannot answer the door right away. No one at the Domino's had read my message as the driver was insistent by his knocking that I had to answer the door right away.
