Popped in for a quick bite before driving back to Brighton today and found the selection to be very anemic and virtually disappointing. Question I first thought is, Is it really worth a Greggs being here??
Not only is it small and puny, but walking up to the counter, the staff member buggered off and went on her own merry explore of the store before returning and then deciding to do some service.
Well purchased a cheese and bacon turnover (had to mention it twice as staff member didn't understand what I wanted), and a apple Danish.
Now when I visit a Greggs or a shop like this, I decide if I return based on the quality of products purchased and if honest, the cheese and Bacon was going hard and the apple Danish was dried out slightly. This indicates in experience that the shop is either baking too many, too quickly.. Or it isn't that busy as an outlet.
As a final thought, to date this has to be one of the worst Greggs outlets I've had the pleasure to enter.
Next time I'm in the area for work, I'll grab a snack out the back of my van and have that instead.. Makes it more appealing now I come to...

Lady who worked on Monday 18th September (brunette/middle aged) - we forgot to ask to get our baguette heated (which we have never had an issue with), we left and came back within a few seconds of leaving the shop.
She gave my partner attitude saying he should have asked when he bought it and charged him nearly £2 more to get it heated. This may be a policy, but I have never been charged elsewhere for this. She had a disgusting attitude. There were other customers surrounding my partner who were in agreement with my partner about her disgusting behaviour. There were other customers coming in starting to queue and I think she seemed to be getting overwhelmed. This is no excuse for her foul behaviour.
Avoid like the plague. I’ll be putting in a complaint...
Read moreI’m not one to normally complain as I too work in retail but every time I go in to Greggs in addlestone and buy a hot sausage roll they are always cold. I went in today around 8am and there were about a handful on display in the counter when I bought mine, I got back to my car to eat it and once again it was a cold one. I think it’s a bit cheeky charging £1.05 per sausage roll when you can’t even get a hot one on a cold morning. If my local Greggs can do it In Bracknell why can’t you do it in Addlestone it’s a shame because I frequently visit my Bracknell branch on my days off work and I always leave there happy. The staff are always happy though and friendly in addlestone which is why I gave 2 stars otherwise it would have been a 1 star review. Please sort this out and ensure your counters keep the...
