Thai Bite — Restaurant in Borough of Spelthorne

Food was outstanding and to perfection, it was authentic and possibly the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The service was wonderful and the staff were accommodating, polite and provided a service with care. The atmosphere was quiet, calming and intimate which made the evening even more perfect! The prices for the outstanding and fresh food was fantastic, for the quality they should be charging more but suit for all people which is so lovely! Overall if I could provide a 10 star rating I would. Will definitely be back...

This restaurant used to be my favourite Chinese when it was called the New Forum and the new owners have some very big boots to fill. However, the first time here and I have to admit I'm impressed. Having spent significant time in Thailand sampling homemade versions of this cuisine, the chef really does bring out the wonderful flavours and spicy heat which makes Thai food such a delight. Would have been 5 stars if he got the Tom Yum soup...

Oh dear. This was very disappointing. Previously I've thought the food good, but this time no. Had creamy but incredibly bland beef penang. So I looked up recipes to see what might have been missing.

1. not much in the way of garlic
2. NO chopped chillies and no heat
3. NO chopped shallot/onion As for other spices etc I did come across a couple of lime leaves but not much taste of...
