Nestled on Shepperton High Street, the Yellow Stone Lebanese restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves all the attention it can get. Stepping inside, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the vibrant flavors of the dishes they serve. On a recent visit, I decided to try their lamb kofta, and let me tell you, it was a decision I won't regret anytime soon.
The lamb kofta was an absolute delight. Each bite of the seasoned minced lamb was bursting with flavor, skillfully spiced without being overwhelming. It was grilled to perfection – just the right amount of char on the outside while remaining juicy and tender within. As I savored the dish, I couldn’t help but appreciate the freshness of the accompanying salad, which featured crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and a zesty dressing that tied everything together beautifully.
And let’s not forget about the chips. These weren’t your average fries; they were golden, crispy delights that provided a satisfying crunch with each bite. Dipping them into the tangy garlic sauce they offer was the perfect way to elevate the meal. Honestly, it's hard to believe the whole plate was such good value, especially considering how generous the portions were.
In a world where dining out can often leave your wallet feeling light, Yellow Stone offers a refreshing take on value without skimping on taste. If you find yourself wandering down Shepperton High Street and are in the mood for some flavorful Lebanese cuisine, make sure to stop by for their lamb kofta. You won’t just leave satisfied; you’ll likely be planning your next visit before you even...
Read moreOrdered a kids halloumi salad and it was literally a couple bits of tomato, bit of lettuce and a few slices of cucumber and a few slices of halloumi, would of expected more for the price especially if it’s supposed to feel a child and that’s all it comes with. Didn’t even fill half the small container.
The flavours were decent but one of the kids chicken meals the chicken was pink and undercooked, we did call up however they said it has to be cooked that way so it’s not overdone. Any other chicken/kebab shop manage to cook it properly not too sure why ours came out any different especially as it’s a child’s dinner.
Wouldn’t even feed a cat with them portion sizes let alone...
Read moreWe’ve just had the best experience at Yellowstone. The food was cooked to order and was super fresh. We thought it was superb value for money. We had a real range of ages - 5, 7, 46, 56, 88 (!) and all our needs were catered for. The food portions were generous and the service was second to none; so kind and thoughtful. We ate inside and the kiddies loved playing chess whilst waiting. My only suggestion would be to maybe get some fruit shoots (or similar) in for...
