British Raj Sittingbourne — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

On being welcomed to the British Raj by both Ifti and Shab I was seated and made to feel very comfortable and valued as a customer even before I looked at the menu.

The customer service and quality of food are absolutely fantastic at the British Raj.

I've not enjoyed a Chicken Chat Puri and Chicken Tikka pathia with a Rice as much as I enjoyed the meal here ! The chefs have truly perfected the spices and flavours to create amazing food here.

Both Ifti and Shab were genuine friendly and very customer focused. This is what a true established local business should be like without hesitation.

I would highly recommend Anyone visit the British Raj for a sit down meal as you will not regret it my visit here was so good I will definitely become a regular customer as I support business like this and the lasting impressions all the staff here left me and the quality of food as well.

We have been to the British raj before and it was lovely, however for my birthday celebration I decided to go to the British raj rather than going to spoons world buffet. When we arrived it was quiet,which was fine but considering it was quiet the service was very very slow. Took 5 minutes just to order our drinks and usually by the time we had our poppadoms we would have been asked to order our mains but this time we had finished our popadums before the guy had came over.. Drinks were slow too. Everything was slow, there was more sauce than meat. our bill had a mistake made on it. My wife and I regularly order from the British Raj and have really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately the same cant be said for the service. Despite being quoted an hour for delivery we had to wait 2.5 hours on the last order. We were told that this was due to an exceptionally busy period and an issue with the online ordering system. We decided to take them at their word and order again tonight. 2 hours later we are still waiting. Phoned to ask what is going on and no one seems to know but it apparently left the kitchen at some point. They are unable to tell us when the food will arrive and just seem to laugh it off. No offer of discount or any apologies on either occasion. They have lost our custom which is a shame as the...
