Island Fish Bar — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

I have been coming for a couple of years now, I wish I had found it sooner! Wonderful family run business, each and every one of them cheerful and polite. Not only Fish and Chips, loads of other dishes available...... I must try the Sunday Roast someday, it looks spectacular 😋 As for prices.... They have hardly gone up at all. You read about Chippies saying £14.00 is the minimum they can charge..... These people do it for far less. O.A.P. Cod and Chips £7.50 to sit down, £6.50 to take away, AND it is a very good portion!! Do yourself a favour. Give them a try 👍

We have been back today after a few months absence. The staff recognised us after all that time, how lovely was that?

I had Large Haddock and Chips, my son had Roe and Chips, we both had Mushy Peas and a mug of Tea. Everything cooked to perfection. The bill was just a little over £20.00.

What a lovely, friendly place. Hygiene is always outstanding.

We Love this Place! My daughter Has Afrid and Really struggles with eating out because It’s a little harder to cater to her needs and she feel uncomfortable when asking for additional changes/adaptions, Well The Island Fishbar went above and beyond the first time I took her in their and she was so comfortable and enjoyed her meal so much we are now regulars! She happily asks For her food in a way she can eat it and theres never a problem, You ask, you get. She is so confident that she will ask all by herself for her meal with her specific instructions (seperate plate or no food touching ect) This was even her place of choice for her birthday dinner treat, It also makes life a little easier for me As I’m not stressed about finding somewhere or worrying About if the food she wants is stocked ect The staff are lovely! Especially the young waitress what a sweetheart She is. Great...

This place is an absolute gem. We only happenchanced upon it during an exploration of the vast charity shops on offer in Sheerness. Quite possibly the BEST chippy on the island - well deserving of its claim of the Island Fish Bar. Wouldn't go anywhere else. The food we had (see photos) was so filling and delicious and not at all greasy which was a complete plus.

The price was 👌 and the staff super friendly and helpful.

We were originally going to grab to go but ended up seated after being made aware that table service was available. It really is the little things.

The only criticism I have would be the toilets. The upkeep wasnt fab and I actually refused to use the facilities to even wash my hands (thank you antibac in bag) which isnt a favourable aspect for a food establishment but this is something you could...
