Would give it no stars if it was possible. As we entered the restaurant at 5pm the staff were sweeping the floors and cleaning as customers were sat on tables (normally this is done before closing for the day when all customers have gone) Food was not fresh as it was cold but I can almost guarantee most it was leftovers from the day before as every dish had no taste. Lamb Karahi and chicken in any dishes were not cooked properly at all. The only things I enjoyed were kheer and gajrela Staff were ok and friendly, credit should be given where it's due I've visited Anam's after 3 years and sadly it has not been a good experience and don't think I will be coming back anytime soon. I hope the owners can make improvements as it once was a great buffet restaurant.

I went with my family today to open our first fast. Resturant had roughly 15 to 20 customers. Food quality was very bad:cold, burnt and old food. No deserts at all really. The only things that were sweet, was the cake that had been already half eaten. On top of that, it was sitting there for a good 2 hours and nobody took a sinlge piece. The manager was also very pedantic. When we gave him constructive feedback, we were returned with him being rude (by saying things like "ramazan is about patience" and that "grilled food is meant to be burnt!) Outrageous.. We will not be coming back again.

Have been eating at this place many years. When you first come in you get the feeling it's a traditional looking place that has some modern amenities. However closer looks says otherwise. The food is always nice and the place bodes well for large crowds and gatherings. Top it all off for those who love social media there is a main pond with some koi fishes in the middle of the main dining hall. Will eat again and have them organise another event of mine. I also would like to thank Sajjad and his team for making extra effort to make my walima perfect.

(This is a Response to the review from Nasir Uddin.) Firstly I would like to say your so called ā€œyoungerā€ brother who is a grown man thinks it’s acceptable to use the ladies bathroom. (Trying to justify himself by saying younger brother,if your brother was a small kid it would have bean a complete different scenario but in this case it was 2 grown men). In no circumstance is it okay for an adult male to be inside the ladies toilets. This is not accepted and will not be tolerated at anams. The member of staff had seen your brother inside the ladies toilets and whilst you was also about to go inside, you was approached by staff. The staff member asked you & your brother what you was doing inside the ladies wc.He replied with the men’s toilets was out of order. Baring in mind we have a poster saying ā€œOut of order please use upstairs toiletsā€. I’m sure your brother clearly read the poster if he knew they was out of order? After the staff member had told him hes not allowed inside there he decided to say ā€œI checked inside there was no one insideā€. Your brother really thought it would be acceptable to use the ladies toilets as no one was using it at the time. Is there no morals or respect?Thankfully there was no females using the bathroom at the time. You must understand how uncomfortable someone would feel if there was 2 fully grown men inside the ladies toilets. The staff member spoke to your brother in an appropriate manner that it clearly says ā€˜out of order please use upstairs toilets’ Our bathrooms are clearly marked with mens wc & ladies wc. This is no confusion or mistake as you had the audacity to tell staff you checked inside the toilets,if anybody was there before you went in. The staff member spoke to you in an appropriate manner until you decided to come back to him standing right up to his face. You were fully obstructing his personal space. The staff member was very patient with your brother. When this took place the staff member told you to move away in an appropriate manner, like any other person would. But no you was still there arguing trying to justify the fact you used the ladies bathroom and it was acceptable. You should feel ashamed and embarrassed of yourself. Please don’t ever come back. We value and respect our customers. What occurred this night was totally unacceptable and will never be tolerated at anams. You are not welcome back if you think it’s acceptable for you to use the ladies wc.

Disappointing Experience - Lack of Cleanliness, Stale Taste and Unfriendly Staff.

I recently visited Anam’s with high hopes of enjoying a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, my visit left much to be desired. First and foremost, I was disheartened by the lack of cleanliness and hygiene at the restaurant. Just after crossing the entrance door, you would find a sanitizer box fixed on the right side of the wall but to my utter shock that box was filled with water. I searched for wipes and I found them on the empty counter but they were dried up. I didn’t find a trash bin anywhere to drop those dried wipes. The tables appeared to be poorly wiped, floor was pretty dull looking and the overall ambiance felt unkempt. It made me question the kitchen's cleanliness, which ultimately affected my appetite and enjoyment of the meal. To make matters worse, the staff's attitude was far from welcoming. From the moment I walked in, there was a noticeable lack of warmth and friendliness. The servers seemed disinterested and were inattentive throughout the meal, which made me feel like an afterthought rather than a valued customer. The neatness of serving plates and bowls was questionable. As for the food, while some dishes were decent, others were cold and re-cooked the overall experience was overshadowed by the hygiene concerns, lack of freshness and unenthusiastic service. It's challenging to fully appreciate the flavors when these crucial aspects of the dining experience fall short. I believe in giving constructive feedback, and I hope Anam Restaurant takes this opportunity to address these issues. Improving cleanliness and instilling a more positive and attentive attitude among the staff could make a significant difference in enhancing the overall experience for diners. In conclusion, I am saddened to say that my visit to Anam’s was less than satisfactory. I would hesitate to recommend it to others until these areas of concern are addressed. I hope my feedback helps the restaurant management in their efforts to create a better dining environment for...

Visited Anams with family towards the end of 2020, and had a buffet. All the food I tasted was genuinely delectable and tasty. I only wish they didn't put the things like the kebabs etc on cut onions. It really spoils the taste. Apart from that everything was spot-on. The place looked very, very magnificent. Took so many pictures, and the staff didn't mind one bit. Probarbly from amongst the best looking places to eat in West Yorkshire. They definetly need to add to the dessert menu however, because they used to have chcolate cheese cackes when I went in 2018 but they got rid of them unfortunately. The staff are well trained, friendly and polite. Literally liked everything to be honest and it wasn't too expensive either. The decor was opulent and immaculate. Loved the litte bridges in the middle of the restaurant with the water underneath and the fishes inside. Could definetly improve on a few things however:

1.Turn off the super annoying Indian music, and keep it off, or just put a nasheed on if you really need to put something on. With the amount of customers this place gets, just the natural buzz of people talking, laughing and having a memorable time would be enough to drown out any silence.

2.Put some bloody heating on! The cold genuinely ruined our experience, and because of it I would't give a five star review. Literally, the place is very big and vast, so heating is crucial, Everything, (not the food however), was literally frozen. It was too cold in there. Unacceptably cold.

Bring back the cheese cakes! They tasted really nice.

Overall a great place to visit, would definetly recommend to everyone. I had a...
