Bangkok Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Bradford

For last 12 years I'm here in YK i have never had any Thai restaurant food experience. And i have eaten in loads of places in here. Last Saturday was going to change it. Not brilliant, soke complains but overall liked it enough to knownill come bqck again.

Shall we start with complaints? I hope not to sounds like im moaning for no reason. The biggest i had, and ill mention my friend opinion in a sec is... Well after we eaten we've been waiting fir about 10 minutes before we could call someone to ask fir a bill. And it's not like they were that busy. Never did we where approach by any of the members of staff with question is everything alright. Because here's my friend slight issue with her food which was... No nuts at her requests to add. And it said in the menu that they will be added if you asked for them. That didn't happened. That's that, my moan / complain and that's one star down.

Let's get down to food because this is where they shine and joy of joys its amazing. I had Asian food before, i know its always different and amazing. Beer was brilliant. For any larger lover... It's imported! Not bottled here, they do import it from Thailand! So you're fir original flavour and taste. And its amazing. Fresh, refreshing, with nice zing. Do your self a favour and don't go for wine. Use this one. You're not going to be disappointed.

We went for soups as a starter. Tom Kha to be precise. Both with chicken. And again ill say amazing. Chicken tested like it was marinated even if it wasn't. Nice chunky bits almost tested like they are about to melt in mouth. That kind of delicious. Maybe, just maybe ill ask next time to make smaller pieces of chicken, as i loved meat with soup it self. And souo was... Yes you're right. Amaw! 😁 Coconut with hint of lemon grass and mushrooms.

My friend was not impressed with her Pad Thai i did enjoy my Pad Mee Bangkok. Love vermicelli and this was not disappointing at all. Beef was prepared well, beans sprouts where in good ratio to other ingredients and noodles. Would i have it again next time? Yes. I like to try new things but i know next time i would not be...

Ordered food through uber eats delivery as I was unwell. The food was inedible. Tom yum soup only had four prawn and a few mushrooms and watery no flavoured 'soup'. The Pad kee Mao was soggy and smelt awful like it was not fresh it had a horrible stench to it and again soggy mushrooms and bamboo shoot was not edible! The Noodles I ordered for my toddler was hard, stuck together and overcooked barely had any vegatable in it .. it had a few shreds of carrot and no flavour at all again inedible. We could only eat Khow kreb Tod!

I called the restaurant who assured me I could get a refund via uber but uber refused to give a refund I contacted the restaurant to tell them this manager told me that they have arranged for it via there app and I should go through the app myself too and it will definetly result in refund as she agrees to mh complaint. But I explaines to her I'm unable to get Uber to refund me. I told the manager this and she told me to keep trying and she had to go off the phone as she had a face to face customer to deal with!

Uber kept sending me the same response and could not even get my name right in response as they were sending me the same pasted response without actually treating me like a human. I am horrified by my experience and now feel more unwell from the little food I consumed. The rest has gone in the bin and my...

I was meant to write this back in July when I visited but it totally slipped my mind so posting up now.

Having read previous reviews, I felt positive and went ahead and booked for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children). I am so glad that I did because I can even start to explain what an amazing experience we had in every aspect.

It is always important for the food to be right and wow, all of it was amazing! It was freshly cooked to order and tasted sooooo nice. Service is very important and if I’m being honest, Bangkok Thai Restaurant provided us with the best service I have received in a long time and were so accommodating of all our needs.

My son has several allergies and the kitchen team pulled out the stops to cater for him and he didn’t get left out, which is usually quite challenging when he has a nut allergy.

The pricing is also reasonable in comparison to other local establishments but in my opinion, the food here is so much better (taste and quality). All the food is Halal which is also brilliant. The dining area itself is nice and clean and the atmosphere was nice too.

I can’t remember the name of the lady who looked after us but all I am going to say is that she was amazing with us and we can’t thank her enough for a thoroughly enjoyable meal and evening.
