Burgerize — Restaurant in Bradford

Burger places are a dime a dozen in this city. From dire to decent and everything in between.

Finding a proper gourmet, beef patty burger is surprisingly tricky to get a hold of however. Enter Burgerize. Chances are you're reading this review because you've heard the buzz or seen the article in the local news. Believe the hype.

At the time of this review, I've eaten here only twice, 6 months apart but both times have been stellar.

To get it out of the way, Burgerize is an unusual location, firmly a 'warehouse project'. Once you've digested that you'll quickly find that whilst there's no premises on site to eat at, beyond the car park, it translates into a hyper-focused menu and crafted experience.

Chips: You'll have a choice of curly fries or skin on fries. I'm partial the rustic nature of skin on fries personally and they're fried and seasoned to perfection. Crunchy on the outside fluffy on the inside. Provided with a small tub of what I assume is a chipotle mayo style sauce complimented the meal well. I should mention that the portion size is very generous and well appreciated.

Burger: Whatever burger you choose, you'll find that the meat is deliciously tender and cooked perfectly. I've never found the meat overdone or struggled with any gristle.

On this occasion, (pictured), I enjoyed the 4x patty variant with the turkey bacon option. Granted a gluttonous indulgence but one I did not regret.

The burger is assembled with clear due diligence as to its shape and presentation, salad that's not overdone and soggy and a well proportioned slice of cheese to add some sweetness.

The price may be enough to have someone scoffing in disgust but as far as I'm concerned, it's well worth what I consider to be the, and quote me, best burgers in...

I ordered a smash burger and wings on the 14th September...the food arrived around 8:00pm... I have ordered from this place once before without issue... However on this occasion after eating the burger and fries and only 2 chicken wings within 1 hour I started to feel unwell and odd... I immediately called it a night and thought sleep can shake it off... Around 2:00am in morning I was woken up with my tummy hurting and twitching and cramping up I immediately ran to the bathroom and puked up the wings come out first I was feverish shaking and felt really weak... Later on that night I woke up at 4:00am and 6:00am to do more puke the burger and rest of it come out... Its now 19:12 on 15th September my stomach is still all cramped up my fever comes and goes and experiencing massive weakness and just drinking fruit juice all day... Now born and raised in Bradford I consider myself having a lead lined belly and it takes allot to make me sick I don't know if it was the burger or wings that made me sick but if I were a betting man It were probably the wings but who knows the matter of fact is this place charges 20+ pounds for a burger and wings and for it to make someone sick is absolutely unacceptable I don't know how the meats are handled in this place but I though I would tell everyone my story before you order from here i went through it so you...

I came to Bradford from Manchester to visit family and they told me of this new place that opened in Bradford just recently. We were looking to go out to eat and we voted to go for burgers and decided to give Burgerize a go after hearing about it on Instagram.

Let’s just say that the burgers we had there were probably one of the best, if not, the best Beef burger I’ve ever had! I’m personally a very fussy eater and not a huge fan of beef. But the pictures on their website made me want to try it for myself. I ordered the Doubled Classic Smash 🍔 with the skin on fries!

I was so glad I ordered this burger! Was delicious, well seasoned, no smell and well cooked. Soft and juicy beef with double cheese, tomatoes and lettuce. The whole experience was amazing! The skin on fries had their secret seasoning and it was worth every penny. I think I’d rate it in my top 3 burger joints ever!

It’s not your typical takeaway or restaurant. I spoke to the staff while ordering and they mentioned this is mainly an online pre-ordering service offering collection or delivery! You come collect the food, either to take away or eat in the car park! Or even get it delivered at home which they were introducing soon. The whole experience was unique and worth trying!
