Café On The Square — Restaurant in Bradford

Not a bad place - good food, enough choice, & one of only a few places in Keighley you can sit down with a tea/coffee & a nice cake - little bit pricey but not too bad for the quality & the economy at the moment - attentive staff, clean environment, adequate seating. But could do better in certain areas:- Tends to be very noisy, often because of young children & their needs & a lot of the time due to a minority of adults talking at the tops of their voices & gathering in places which inconvenience others. Also, the fact they won't take a card for less than a £10 spend - I think it's the only cafe in Keighley which does this & is bound to put some people off & I, for one, have, on occasion, chosen to walk away & go elsewhere upon seeing this sign on the door - they surely charge enough to be able to offset the machine charges & the numbers of customers they do have seems quite healthy. This cafe deserves a review! Since working in keighley my friend and I have tried various cafes. Mostly order and collect. We do use the same cafe usually but after discovering this cafe we do like to treat ourselves. Its slightly well priced. I usually pay in between £8-£11 for my full English breakfast, depending on the extras. The cafe is clean. The staff are helpfull, polite and happy. Service is very punctual. Quality is very high. I recently had lunch there, and I must say, I was once again impressed by their authentic Italian flavors. It's a wonderful reminder of my childhood in Italy. It's the best cafe in Keighley, offering a truly authentic Italian dining experience, prepared and served by Italians. The food is always hot and freshly prepared, the prices are reasonable, and they thoughtfully accommodate Muslim dietary needs by excluding alcohol and pork. The seating and restrooms are clean.
