This may be the best Wetherspoon establishment in England. Especially the breakfast and the staff. This place always seems relatively busy, yet the service is prompt and polite. It always seems clean enough, not too loud or crowded. The breakfast here may solve everything. Sad? Full English Breakfast. Lonely? Full English Breakfast! Hungry, sad and lonely? The only answer is a Spoon's Full English Breakfast! The food was all perfectly cooked and it arrived in what felt like a few minutes. The coffee is ok too! And free refills! For a long time I was put off going to Wetherspoons Pubs, because of the low quality food & drinks and the general lack of atmosphere. Yet I had found a diamond in the rough. This is the exception to the rule. Edit: see my most recent photo, the second one, and you'll see why I changed the rating to be lower. It may be the saddest looking ham & egg & chips I've ever seen.

My first visit to this Spoons the restaurant was clean and tidy, the staff pleasant and helpful. I must say the journey up to the toilets was like a trip up Everest and well I am taking toilets the censor flushed seven times while I was sat on the throne leaving me a cold wet feeling down below. It's also handy ( for me) having the Skipton and Burnley bus stops right outside easier to get home. Back to the food I unusually have fish and chips at the Spoons but it was the steak pud. today and it did not reach the level I am used to so probably won't participate in the downing one again the mushy peas were lukewarm not hot. Thanks to the young lady behind the bar who asked how much lime I would like in my drink it's nice to asked. Would I return to North St. Probably but as I don't often visit this former mill town it may be some time.

The Livery Rooms- JD wetherspoon, Keighley is one of the dependable establishments serving vivid well priced cask ales and traditional Yorkshire dishes. I've been there for the first time this weekend and this place is found to be one of the fantastic destination for a weekend hangout with the famous Timothy Taylors and the traditional British cuisines. The staffs were very supportive and informative. They guided us in the right way to book a table and order stuff. Regarding the ambience, if you would like to dine in with the traditional British atmosphere- this is the best place you'll find around.

Very disappointed with todays visit. Came at at 10:50 to have breakfast. I fancied poached eggs on a muffin, lovely girl took the order. About five minutes later someone comes to tell me I can have fried eggs but not poached. Not the young girls fault but I asked did they have eggs, I was told yes but only fried not poached. They have a kitchen, equipment, breakfast is on for another half hour to forty minutes, but they can't make poached egg. We were told its because they are all pre made l.

I have never heard of pre-cooked poached eggs before but it seems they have pre-prepared fried eggs. I don't think I want one now anyway.

Just to point out, its not the young girls fault who served us, however I will write to the company as I feel its not good service.

It was not very busy this morning just to put some boiling water in a saucepan and let two eggs cook. Also not one of the two girls who served us have offered us the difference back between the two meals.. I had to go for a different option at a lower price, then go find a member of staff now we have finished for the partial refund.

When I found the girl who had served us I was asked what the problem was. I tried to explain, got nowhere and then asked for the manager. I was told they were busy on their break. I then asked for their name,, I was told I couldn't have it. The manageress refused to come and speak to me in the end and all I wanted was to pass comment on the service and refund process.

Very poor attitude. Normally its good there but not today.

Im not sure if the management team read these reviews but I...

Regular here but tonight first time at chicken club - disappointing! Pulled chicken bun? Unless my eyes and mouth deceive me it was chicken chunks, and no red onion! Asked for the coleslaw which was stated in menu as included, only to be told it was extra at the bar which was a lie, which we proved, and received no apology and one tiny pot of coleslaw between two of us, despite us both having the chicken chunk bun where it should have been included. Didn't matter though, it was horrible anyway. Despite choosing mexican style rice as a side, still managed to receive a chip on my plate. No sweet chilli sauce came with the halloumi either but could no longer be bothered to complain. Got just the onion rings right, including another free chip. What happened Wetherspoons? And what are you going to do about it? I understand its not the Ritz but come on! Just a week before came to curry club and ordered a large curry - received quickly as always but missing the extras that make it large. Resolved in reasonable time but with no apology. Then was resolved a second time which was quite welcome! Back at Christmas the turkey dinner was missing the cranberry sauce. And that was NOT swede mash! And there was something seriously wrong with the gravy! Festive chicken burger missing the bacon! I will no doubt keep returning though because its the nearest pub to me, but do you want that to be the only reason...

Went to Wetherspoons, Keighley last night at about 7pm. Lots of tables waiting to be cleared. When the food was served my sister commented there weren't any peas with her steak and jacket potato. The waitress said you only get peas with the gourmet steak, which actually comes with about 5 extra items, not just peas. Not exactly what you'd call a balanced meal. The same waitress collected the plates and asked if everything was ok, but obviously didn't want a truthful answer. We said it was fine except for the lack of veg of any description and she was extremely rude, said she didn't organise the menu and walked away from our table making a sarcastic comment as she walked. I called her back and asked her to repeat what she said and she was again rude and repeating what she'd said before about the menu. You may recognise her, she has red hair and was wearing a yellow dress. Another customer came to our table and said she's always like that and didn't know how she kept her job....
