Elliott's Delicatessen and Café — Restaurant in Bradford

I was a regular at this cafe - bringing my family and friends - never had an issue but today I came on my break during work like normal with my partner - we got served our drinks and they brought our toast out, I had finished my drink by the time they had brought food out as it was getting cold, only to realise they had gave someone else’s food to us - someone that had ordered after us I might add. So instead of apologising to us - she came over took the plates and said she was binning them now. We waited another 20mins for our food - by this time I had eaten my toast as I was hungry and it was freezing - the gentleman that’s food got originally passed to us got his food before us and before hand she apologised to him and offered a free drink due to the inconvenience - which she never did for us, despite us waiting even longer and having ordered before him. When my food arrived - it was plainly obvious it was rushed out - the egg was hard and looked like it had been chewed up and spat out on my plate and the hash browns weren’t cooked properly - never the less we ate our food due to being so hungry and worrying about needing to get back to work. When paying / I made it aware I had my drink free due to their loyalty card policy - only to be spoken to like crap in front of a full cafe, she argued with me about stamping my card for the purchase today - claiming I had already had mine stamped when I hadn’t - the gentleman with her tried to explain it was his fault and that I was right but she seemed to be rather annoyed about the situation and didn’t want to admit fault on there part so she continued to talk to me in a very bad tone, almost like I was dumb which I didn’t appreciate anyway let alone in front of a packed cafe - clear to say it was a wasted argument as I won’t need my loyalty card because I won’t be attending the cafe anymore, if that’s how they like to treat one of their most loyal customers..I personally think it’s outrageous, they’ve lost my custom and I will be telling all my friends and family to do...

I recently had the pleasure of our Walk This Weigh Wellness group's Christmas party here and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was seamless and enjoyable.

The food was simply outstanding! Very reasonable priced and was thoughtfully prepared and presented, catering perfectly to our diverse group’s tastes. It truly lifted our celebration and left everyone raving about it.

The ambiance of the coffee shop provided the perfect backdrop for our gathering. With space for all 20 of us, it felt both cozy and accommodating. The warm atmosphere made our event feel special and intimate.

Overall, McCallans exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re looking for outside catering or a fantastic place to host an event, maybe just simply enjoy a great cup of coffee, look no further. We can’t wait...

Although we have driven past many times, we tried McCallan's for the first time today but we will definitely be going there again. McCallans is quite small but is nicely decorated and very clean. The couple behind the counter, presumably the proprietors, were friendly and welcoming too. We ordered two coffees and a panini and to say it was excellent value would be a massive understatement. The coffees were good but my wife's tuna & cheese panini was outstanding; not only did it taste good but it was big enough for two people and was also accompanied by a fresh salad. We would highly...
