Frangoz Express — Restaurant in Bradford

Unfortunately here I am writing a review like this after receiving an Appalling experience and bad service from Frangoz. Uber late delivery no updates provided until I called the restaurant. The food arrived over 30mins late the lady who answered my call at Frangoz was extremely rude literally answered the call with an abrupt HELLO followed by an awkward silence as I’m trying to speak she’s saying you what.. what you want.. she couldn’t understand me clearly and she was struggling to put a sentence together… extremely rude zero manners in customer service or even held basic etiquettes on how to speak to customers Judging by her rude unbothered tone I knew then this wasn’t going to be a good experience.. still I thought if the food is decent I can overlook the service aspect.. eventually the food arrives the burgers soggy the fries and pizza were cold the pizza completely tasteless soggy weird texture no taste it was bizarre and disgusting the chicken burger was inedible thanks to the salsa mush they put on the bottom on the burger the whole thing was sloppy.. the “amigo” burger was a stale smelling dried up beef patty with salsa which helped make the burger bun impossible to hold it was a utter mush.. the chicken wings were also stale the smell and taste of the stale batter was so evident this food was not fresh at all. Utterly disappointed as I was hoping for better food considering I went to Frangoz when they opened up around 4 years ago and it wasn’t the best experience back then and I hadn’t gone back since moving on to 2022 I thought let’s give it a try and it’s gone from bad to worse. Literally disgusting food and service to match.. I won’t be returning to test the 3rd time lucky rule here.. Instead I’ll AVOID!! In hindsight I should’ve read some of these reviews before ordering and avoided this horrible experience and not wasted my time and money...

I ordered food for my whole family on eid £74 through Uber waited over an hour for the food which isn’t a problem within it self but when the food came there was missing items took me 7 calls to get hold of them and they finally answered by a rude lady who accused me of lying when I said items are missing explained to her an entire meal is missing and other meals are wrong she said we only paid for one of the meals we did the calculation and we had not then she implied I’m lying as it is impossible that the burgers we got aren’t dipped she then said I can send a picture to their whatsapp which I said yes she gave the number and quickly ended the call I sent photos received no text or call back so I called them once again and she said she seen the pic and she’s sorry so I said you accused me of lying and now I have evidence she then said I’m sorry and how can she compensate me I said I want the wrong and missing items redelivered she said not today but tomorrow which I said no either today or a full refund she then was suddenly able to deliver today it has now been 40 minutes I was promised food within half hour still not here texted them again, I asked to speak to a manager she said they’re not here I asked for her to name to give a complaint and she would not...

Frangoz Express has a convenient collection location which is similar to that of a drive through, this is literaly the definition of a take-away, upon arriving both me and my mrs had been fasting, we ordered at a time which allowed us to collect 5 minutes before we opened our fast, however even though the workers tried their best to get it on time due to the volume of orders our order got delayed by 10 minutes, however an individual who I'm assuming is associated with Frangoz, provided us water bottles and fruit that of his own so that we can open our fasts, this was completely hospitable and showed that their character is caring, this had completely made our evening as it shows that their are still good people in this world.

I am not going to be biased and do a review which is based on that situation.

The Food 7/10

I had a smash box, the cheese burger was really nice I enjoyed this thoroughly, the cheesy chips felt a bit bland, I have definitely had better, the cheese on the chips was a bit firm and did not provide that unique taste of creamy cheese, the Donner and wings personally were excellent, I could not fault them I found them to be flavourful and we'll cooked.
