This is an old style watering hole with lots of real ale history. I visited this establishment on a Saturday lunchtime on the way to Shipley, and there were only 3 people in it. Maybe it gets better later on. There were about 5 beers on offer (with room for more, apparrently 8). The beer I had was quite good, but later, a few friends arrived (bound for the same destination in Shipley) that didn't like theirs (but I can't say why). The pub itself is in need of some TLC and appears to have been neglected for some time, A bit like the area around it, which was a quiet industrial zone devoid of people. In fact, the whole area appears to be somewhat neglected. There was no food on offer. There is a beer garden available for those balmy days just situated across the narrow road. It was nice to see some of the old memorable decor, fireplaces, and pictures about What was once a beer drinkers milestone is now sliding into disrepair.
