Lunch Monkey This cafe is a real gem, serving excellent home cooked food. I have lived in Heaton for many years and seen this business go through many phases from a great Deli to a range of usually not very good and short lived cafes. This is not only the best of its kind that Heaton has had but possibly Bradford! On a par with the legendary Italia. As well as the amazing breakfasts and hot sarnies, including black pudding- fresh pan fried mushrooms, they have an ongoing range of specials - spaghetti carbonara was the best my daughter had ever eaten, the Jerk chicken with rice exceptional and most recently panfried lamb steak with minted roasted vegetables and scalloped potatoes. There are specials for kids, including toasted sarnies, baked potatoes, great salads and excellent chips..
